DescriptionST4DLDR is a tiny program to disable the car security system a.k.a. document check from the games Brøderbund 'Stunts' and Mindscape '4D Sports Driving'.
Yes, there are already tools to disable the car security system, but none of these works with all versions. — Not even all work with different graphics or sound card settings!ST4DLDR fills this gap, because it can handle the following game versions.

Brøderbund Stunts 1.1 (Feb 12 1991)
Mindscape 4D Sports Driving 1.1 (Dec 13 1990)

ST4DLDR was created using
- Aurora Editor 3.0c,
- Borland MAKE 3.6, and The
- Netwide Assembler (NASM) 0.98.38.
Did a quick test. Works good.
Better than the know ways to get past the security question.
With this one the question is never asked just like with the restunts executable.
So to run a version of stunts straight form original disk image, then this crack seems to be a better choice than the current ones.
//
By the way. I just found it while stumbling around google trying to find out if there is anyone else in the world who still remembers stunts.
And if found this post on a German form. https://www.dosforum.de/viewtopic.php?t=41 (https://www.dosforum.de/viewtopic.php?t=41)
It is interesting because of the apparent good quality of the security check bypass and the presence of licence and source code.

ST4DLDR doesn't work with 4D Sports Driving 1991-2-25. I tested it on that version directly. Only NeverLock works with it as far as I'm aware of the variety of cracks released

I believe I tested it.
But thanks. I'll try to find out why.
It's maybe Mindscape coded a different security system when making the second release. No other cracks can defeat its security system besides NeverLock. It means that maybe the creators of NeverLock had a copy of 4D Sports Driving 1991-2-25 when they created it but didn't publish that release. Only me and Marco could spawn it onto the internet in 2019
This might be the reason why the other cracks aren't working with this version as it is rare
ST4DLDR bypasses the security altogether in the same sense the recompiled version does. It set's the check to passed (the state after the security check) therefore you never get the question.
This is the same in all versions.
So I'm unsure why it doesn't work.
Maybe it has to do with the executable you mentioned earlier.
If you try to run 4D Sports Driving 1991-2-25 with ST4DLDR.EXE you'll know what I'm talking about
