Title: ZCT 19
Post by: zaqrack on October 26, 2002, 01:51:08 PM
Design and testing done.

Some facts:

-Took 2 hours
-I guess you all know, it's not a secret: designed for Lamborghini Countach
-Quite balanced Dual-way track (finally :) )
-Big, partly exploreable scenery, as in zct18.
-racing time around 2 mins.

Hope you'll like it.

It was a secret for me zak...

I hope in that second way there will be a pit stop and we could change the car there for a nice Renault Fuego :D

And how much time will be loosed by using auto trm? (Aaaaargh, what a strange passive sentence...  :D  )

I'm afraid of that track. Lamborghini, 2 minutes... I don't want another month without a REAL replay!!!

Come on Akoss, race this month! It's such a pity that only 13 drivers have joined :( You can figure out the tricks, just think! How could we have won so much time?

You can tell me tricks, if you want...  :P
Title: I tried everything...

...especially at the end of the track. I know a 3-5 second trick at the end, so 1:41 is possible, but my average position is 4.71 and I wouldn't send it. Where can be another 10 second shortcut? Don't know and this month has already finished for me.

real topic... z19!

super track, very hard and slow, just good for BJ. I like it.

super long track, no speed and not so tricky-track. Just good for foxy rotoi I hate it.

I cant play on it. Its aarrh just awful. Halloweeny track. My lamborghini got a problem: one of the speed needle goes crazy at full speed in the air and i'm not under warranty anymore. Who can fix that?

One more time ;) I hate slow tracks and i love zack competition. Wheres the problem? AAAH yes, the problem is when those shitty cars havent got A DARN-AN-ASL SIXTH GEAR.

Another problem: i can see that puppy rotoi will win this one AGAIN. Who can fix that?

Another question: They said it was possible to find funny short cuts on it, but i found only four... Who can fix that?

Final question and i leave u alone: Will somebody be the leader more than 440 hours this month? Who can fix that? 8)

My first view about this track was: "yaaaarrrhh carrr" and "which way?? which way??" and "when it finish??".
But if you give it more time and try all the ways and search for shortcuts you'll have fun with the plus that you are knowing the car.

I give this track/car a 4/5!

'Track around 2 minutes' = rotoied in one minute and thirty seconds.

I ask u for some rpls from zct5 featuring countach 25th anniversary the merciless and a super track. Send it to me please, because tis anavailable on zack sites'. (instead of writing an impossible and boring stunts tricks portfolio t would be funny to put together in a divx what can and cant be done with a countach or whateva :D)

Well I think 1.45.70 is quite a nice time... and I who thought I was going to take the lead. But at least I know that there's some kind of shortcut now... or that I am taking the wrong way...

Let's see, how long I'll lead with my 1:45.70 time  I think, two more secs I could improve it  Maybe this time I'll be on top5 :D

P.S. This time is devoted to very Unskilled driver

Trust me: Nobody knows NOTHING about the top-5 at the 5th day of the month. I'm sure everything will change, and Mingva may well be in top-5 this month, but the winning times will be much much better than 1.45 or 1.43. It's just a question of time.

Quote from: "CTG"Wow Mingva! Nice time!

Mingva mentioned this on the Orion Home Page.
I want to say to him that CTG is not a good predictor. In May I sent 1:33,10 and he said that was a f*cking good time and in his opinion only Bonzai Joe would beat me. There was a 1:31,40 in my replay box and it was only the 7th place time. :(  The winner was Roy of course with an amazing 1:18.............

But 1:45 really sounds good, grats :D , I'll try the track tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

ouch  I must to work with my car harder. So, in this weekend I'm planning to do free practice session  And then send better time.

In my replay aren't special tricks. This time is better than yours because of time difference between auto/manual transmissions

Are you sure you did not use any shortcuts Mingva? I don't even get that time with the shortcuts I found *g*

Maybe I'm just to rusty :)

Would someone of the experts predict a winning time for this month?  Some time we can at least try to come close?

Title: Winning time
Post by: BonzaiJoe on November 09, 2002, 01:03:47 PM
Well, by using the Rotoi rule (take the best time you can possibly imagine and subtract a lot of seconds), the winning time will be about 1.40. But of course tricks are found every day, so it might as well be 1.30...

For now.
Actually I have no idea which way to take...
The way I've taken it seems to be impossible to drive unde 1.45.00 but maybe I've mist a shortcut.....
