Hi all.
For those that have visited the competition page, you might have noticed that the scoreboard has no point system.
That is not implemented yet.
Season 1. A New System.
After the tryout season last year, I took the time to rethink every aspect of the concept.
I know how I want to score CCC.
Only points per driven car, and points are awarded bottom up.
Slowest time for a car gets 1 point, each faster time for that care gets N+1 points.
So. The first replay send for a car gets 1 point. When a second comes, then the fastest gets 2, the other 1.
When a third time is posted that goes in between, then that one gets the 2 points, the fastest is raised to 3.
For example:
car1 (top = fastest)
Car2.
Car3
Overall score:
Dr2 5p
Dr1 3p
Dr3 1p
Dr4 1p
If 20 people participate.
And one car is driven by 16 different people.
Then for that car, the fastest time gets 16 points.
It's like opposite of the current ZakStunts system. Points are only awarded for single car podium,
Because I have no strength modifiers. The fastest time doesn't matter, it's the fastest time per car.
Very interesting point system. I would like to see it in action! :)
### this is about the original system. Not relevant anymore ###
The new system starts here.. (https://forum.stunts.hu/index.php?msg=88701)
In this system, it is possible for one player to end with several cars in the top 10, and thus getting a lot of points. In order to make that less predictable, I want to add a period of silent replays, like zakstunts.
Most of the reasoning behind this competition, the rules and the point system is to create something new.
I believe diversity can bring and hold more players. Once it is technical ready, I will try to get outside attention to the competitions.
I hope it will bring new players to our community.
The next race will be for points, I will keep track of them manually until it is technically implemented.
At the end of the year, the system will be reviewed for next season.
You have a few days left to make an account and try this race 8) 8)
Well, a scoreboard strategy would be I.e. you have about 30 minutes to spend racing per race so maybe racing with several cars instead of maxing out 1 lap only might be a way to gain more points. It has to be seen in action to know better how it will work.

That would work. And is kinda the intention. Better have several good times than one perfect one.
With the current status of only 4 times entered it can be very lucrative. Even if you don't have the fastest time with a car you can still get points for the car bonus (if it's outside the first 10)
I took a bit if time calculating the points for the last two races;|
For both KyLiE took first and second place, so 23 points for each.
Alan Rotoi has uploaded replays with more cars so cumulatively takes more points.
So, although KyLiE is the race winner of all 3 races, Alan Rotoi has taken the lead.
Last race I didn't realise I was leaving one car out :(

That cost you 3 points at least. You could have come equal to KyLiE ir even have surpassed him.
Alright. I've posted with all five cars this time! :p Later, I'll probably update some of my laps, but starting from now, I've ensured my full post ;D

First post updated, old system backup in attachment.
The ideas behind this system are:
- Points per car eliminates the need for a balanced CarPack.
- all Cars are equal at the start.
- There is no obligation to drive every car.
The scoreboard is functional with point system. (Thanks Duplode)
Please share your thoughts.
It's welcome! ;D It seems fair and it persuades to race with all cars.
What about to add at the end of a race a ranking system for the custom cars?
I already submitted new replays for the current track (it ends tomorrow!) and I have tested the point system. I must say it's perfect for this kind of competition. It rewards testing as many cars as possible instead of skills. That's the most important feature of CCC, testing custom cars! Of course it also rewards skills but in a secondary place of priority which is good. A great success for Daniel. Standing clap!
It's true, that's the effect. You need to post with all cars, no exceptions, to be competitive. Maybe it'd be OK too if, say, by just using most, you were already competitive, but considering the main goal, I think it's good.
