We start with the second official race on the 4th of July.
This time we go for speed. 8)
We have a fun fast track for you ready.
The car selection will be fast to of course.
I'll upload the track and carpack later this week.
I hope to see you all for the competition 🙂
Here we have the track as promised.
Also remember the rule: "Each tunnel along a chosen path is a checkpoint. Go through each checkpoint along the way. Jumping over the tunnel is not considered passing the checkpoint. "
When I designed the track, there was a tunnel at a very tricky position because I had forgotten that you guys had that rule, so Daniƫl removed it after pointing that out. It's a very fast track. I think you'll enjoy it :)
I make a habit of not pre-driving a track.
So, I know I told CAS what kind of track I had in mind.
But man. He delivered.
If anybody ever wonders what kind of track I like?
This is it.
I hope everyone likes it at least half as much. Then this will be a great round.
Enjoy.
The "diva" of this race is Lancia LC1. It would count as a 4th IMSA car because its performance. It has a better acceleration but slightly slower top speed (205mph against 212 - 215mph from the rest of IMSA). You can read Duplode's analysis of this car here: http://forum.stunts.hu/index.php?topic=3888.msg83168#msg83168
This is one of Ryoma's car I like more because you find what you are looking for. You choose an IMSA car and its performance is what expected in terms of this game.
I still have to send a replay on this track. I worked today and yesterday, I was sick because of the vaccine, so I trust that I will be able to post on CCC tomorrow
I barely have time to race (and some of it is spent on other things because I easily get distracted)
I am very content with this month's setup. Thank you, CAS, for an awesome track.
Thank you, Alan, for helping me pick the cars for this race. The IMSA and DTM cars seem to go well together.
I can't predict which car will be the fastest and if that will be the same care for everybody.
I would make a preset prediction but there is a new car around. I would say:
LC1
Melange
P962
Jaguar
BMW
Audi
Mercedes
Ok I sent all DTM laps and an update of the LC1. I'll change my prediction:
Melange
P962
Jaguar
LC1
Audi
BMW
Mercedes
Oh btw it seems in general performance LC1 is between DTM and IMSA.
"Average" performance from best to worst:
Top speed: imsa, lc1, dtm
Acceleration: lc1, imsa, dtm
Grip: dtm, imsa, lc1
I'm going to be posting more replays there soon and trying the other cars. There's a nice performance spectrum in the group
I think so to. It is not that easy to get a good group.
It is not all about speed. Grip and acceleration are just as important.
A week left!
I must race with imsa cars to complete the car list.
O my, you are forcing yourself to drive your own creation 8)
But indeed the last week.
Oh... I'll try to post with the other cars... I've been quite busy with work. Now I have a little bit more time. I'm also on a project I'll tell you about in another topic.
The track is awesome and the car selection is great for this kind of speedrace. Tomorrow ends this track. Don't miss it!! ;D

I totally agree. I love the track. Nice and fast.
Only 8 hours left to go.
The race is over with some last minute participants.
We'll see what that will do for the scoreboard.
Although KyLiE has the top two places, I think Alanrotoi is this month's winner.
I'll try to calculate the points quick.
Monday the new race starts.
