It's disgusting , everybody complained that there's no competition and now, what are you doing, you're blocking the competition, because you are not sending your replay in. 1. I never complained that there was no competition.
2. I didn't have a replay until yesterday. I could have driven a bad time, but what's the point?
3. I am going to send in my replay now, but it kind of freaks me out that Argammon and Bismarck, who are the only ones that actually complained about there being no competition, have not sent anything in yet. They are my main competitors, as you probably know.
4. It's great that you and Ben send in replays early, but I just haven't had time to drive the track in the whole first part of this month.

I don't mind him entering late, but I do mind him whining about others entering too late, and then entering later than everyone else. Of course, if there is a good explanation for this, then it's okay. Otherwise, what can I say? I don't think we can take the demands about early entering seriously.
I totally agree with Pershing. It' ore excitig when everybody have a repay in the middle of the month. Some drivers, especially Argammon wait until the last day, that's disgusting. (Or maybe he's having a very weak time.) It's bad for fair drivers, but I thik it's worse for Zak, because he works in vain. I'm sure that I'll send at least three replays each month in the future (including a listfiller at the beginning of the month).
I lost my first place, and I cannot play Stunts until 3rd May (I didn't have time last weekend, now I'm learning climatology, plant and animal biology). I think I won't finish in the top 5.
For some reason I wasn't able to post on this board the last few weeks.
Anyways it seems to work again.

Today I wrote the following to the famous Argammon:
'I don't think. I wasn't childish. You were active in March, I know, but with weak replays. (I was the leader, if you don't remember - a beginner, a rookie, isn't it strange???) You waited until the last minute. OK, other drivers did it, too, but you did it in April, too. I'm sure you had a replay in April, but it was too weak. Or why did you ask us if there's anybody who absolved the last corner without a penalty? (Now I can say I managed to do this, it was very easy I think.) Pershing II beat me in fair circumstances. I thought a divided third place would be good for both of us. I was wrong, I know. But my third place was lost not there. I drove the corkscrew on the right, the slalom on the right, in the water, and I started the icy corner on the right. There was a right corner, and with standing on the right I didn't have chance to carry high speed to the straight. Everything would have driven on the left. I lost more than a second there.
BUT! I'm satisfied with my 4th place, and I'm happy. I'm improving!

Well, first of all: I didn't send in the replay on the last day. Well, I sent in a replay on the last day which was 0.25 better than the one I sent in three days before, but I don't think that made the difference...
Second of all, if you have no problem sending in bad times, why did you keep repeating in February that you definitely would rather have no time on the scoreboard than a bad time? You suddenly had a change of heart?
Well, what can I say? If this was any other decent kind of board, I would censor Argammon and just have a great time with all the other great guys here. Yes, all of you.

I tried to find good arguments to underline my idea of a rule to prevent last day replay sending.Of course Bonzai Joe did not understand it,does not understand it,and will not understand it.

All I was saying is that AKPOO had could have critisized anyone who send their replay last day (april) But he picked me although I didn't send any replay.

- In March I had taken the lead on the 24th day, and I lost it on 1st April. Is it 2 or 3 days? Check the date of my best replay! I sent it to you earlier. OK, I sent the 1:30,95 on the 29th day, but I was the leader at that point, too. Other guys? Nobody wanted to send his best replay or nobody wanted to play until the last day, because you hadn't sent your best replay. There were comments like this: 'Argammon, why don't you send your replay?' Do you remember? But as a newcomer I didn't know it in March.
- I called you famous because you had classified drivers. You mentioned top drivers, and I wasn't among these drivers, although I was the leader (you mentioned only you had good replay from the top drivers). If we see top drivers very strictly, only Roy and maybe Bonzai Joe are top drivers. But Bismarck was very fair when he mentioned top 8. Everybody is a very good driver here. So famous was a little bit ironic.
- This time I'm the leader again. (There's no month without my lead.) What can I do? I don't have big motivation... Send your replays!

Chinese is probably the easiest spoken language in the world, but the most difficult written language.
And I have not started driving this track. In the beginning of the month I was busy and/or away, and now I am writing the review. I will start trying after that.
Yesterday, when I saw the latest results of the competition I decided not to continue the race. Why? I don't think I will ever drive so fast like the real great drivers. I met this game 8 years ago and I know almost everything about it, but I'm not enough talented to be a successful driver. The track of May showed me how slow I am ( I cannot go better, than 1:40). Perharps I'll continue next month.

When I've started last year I also thought, that i am the "best" ever seen stunts driver of the galaxy. But then a, let's call him Roy W. or better R.Wiegerinck, showed me my borders. But thanks to the possibility to view the three winning replays every month i learned the tricks, without them you can not win here, so just watch the winning replays. Just click have to click at the 2001 or 2002-scores section and then on the picture of the track under the list. Then you can download the track of that month and the 3 top winning times. I think then your time may improve by 3 ... ??? seconds.
I see stunts more as an adventure, you have to find the right way to drive, because in my opinion there was still no track, were you could drive just on the track to win the month. There are already several ways.
By the way I've given up the idea of winning all the races, because it's not impossible, but very arduous. So my target is to be under the top3, so everybody could view my replays. And naturally to win the overall-year-competition, but it will be hard.
Don't give up, just learn and fight.
When I first came to www.kalpen.de I thought, like Bismarck, that I was the best ever in the whole galaxy But then I came in 6th, 5th and 7th in the first three months. I downloaded the winning replay every time, and I've kept watching replays from all the great drivers, and now, 15 months later, I've won my first monthly. I am also working on a compilation of all the competition winning replays ever. I have 23 so far. Zak, I need replays from ZCT1-6, ISA, I need the winning replay from Toronto, Charles, I need all your winning replays, and Roy, I need yours from WATER2 (CAP 1.04.50) and from others that I might not have, but I think I have the rest.
I can't get better. I play this game for 8 years (I think I have already mentioned that) and I couldn't learn how to use manual transmission. As far as I know it means 4-5 secs on every tracks. That's why I'm so slow.
Manual transmission = replay handling. If you don't use that, it is very hard to use manual transmission. I met the game in 1993 also, improved very little during the period 1993-2000, and then improved greatly in 2001-2002.
Can you tell me how much difference is between auto and manual on this track? Because I could go better than days ago. Yesterday night I had a dream about playing this game. I saw what are my mistakes. Today I missed the Organic Chemistry to try what I saw. And my dream was enough to go faster (about 2 secs better). But this is the maximum, I cannot drive a better one (unless I learn how to use manual). I ask all of you to go only one lap with automatic gear-lever, and please tell me the results. Thanks!
I can totally agree with Bonzai Joe (although he don't like metal), auto transmission is all about replay handling. We drive exactly the same way, which driving style isn't good for manual transmission, but we try everything, and the results speak.
I saw that game in 1996, and I drived stunts between 1996 and 1999. In the last few years I haven't driven until entering this competition.
CTG should have never thought that he's the best driver on the world, because i the dormitary his times were all pushed down by Usrin. And Usrin's times were all pushed down by me. But Usrin has improved since these days.
Until 2000 I really thought that I'm the best driver on the world. But that year I tried a competition www.hem.passegen.se, and I was only third (Inavoeg was the winner - Usrin 4th). After entering, the competition finished, and I have searched for competitions until Usrin told me about Zak's competition.
I'll never give up, I hope once I will be able to win a monthly. CTG, never give up!

I thought I really good in this game, but is hard to be near you (all). I play this game since October 1993 until 1999. Then is forgot it, but few weeks ago I found Zak's page/competition and I start to play again. This month we're racing with the Jaguar! Just the Jaguar! I've never used this car because my copy of Stunts (BB 1.0) was incomplete, but anyway I used the Porsche 962 that is similar I think so. Now Im using the ver. BB1.1, downloaded from Zak's. Well, I just want to say "hello" and try to finish in the first place!(or 2nd, or 3rd why not? or 4th or....

About transmissions: I'll never understand what's your problem with manual transmission. I've played Stunts since 1994 (with some interruptions), and almost never used automatic. Before joining this competititon, I've always driven the Indy (Zak, when will it be the car of the month? ), and manual shifting helped me in estimating my speed. For example, in 3rd speed I couldn't be too fast for taking a "normal" curve. That's why I haven't got used to steer with both hands.
Two years ago, I thought that I was the 2nd best driver of the world (after Poo)... And I thought that our dormitory was the only place on the world where people played Stunts. Now, my dream is standing on the imaginary podium... but I think it won't become reality in May.

Usrin, don't be afraid of my times on this track. I really cannot drive a better one. But I saw Zak's time with Auto, and I will try to beat it. I'm unable to use Manual (Why? The reason is too difficult to tell you in English... ). I don't have a third hand to press Esc when I think there's a good time.
I've never thought that I'm a good driver. There were always a lot of people, who were faster. Three or four years ago not only you and Akoss were better, but also Tarczi and Szil?rd. And my knowledge was more than terrible (like now ) But if you think I'm the best Stunts driver at BME-"Vegy?szkar" (How to say in English?), I must tell you that I'm not. There's a guy (called Tisza, perharps you'll see his name here in this year) who is very talented in this game. Once he wasn't sober and he started playing Stunts in my room. Two hours later all of lap records were better (I drove 1:08.80 on Default, his time is 1:05.10). But he doesn't want to join this competition.
Zak, don't think so much about my Slovak. I only know some words (about 100, without the numbers), but it's not enough to understand sentences like yours... So, could somebody help me with a Slovak-Hungarian dictionary?

Maybe I haven't found all tricks! I cannot believe that Roy is 7 seconds faster than me! OK, he's faster, but by 7 seconds...
Today Stunts made me angry. After 3 hours of sleeping I am very strange, anxious etc. today. I wrote a test in the morning in animal biology (after a long travelling), I planned my examination season, I applied for all exams, I bought a book, I made photo copies, I travelled home after that, and I got very tired. I started to play Stunts, but I wasn't successful, I couldn't correct my time. Everything went bad, I skidded, slided in curves, I cannot handle the car well, my mother made me upset (she can't see that I'm an adult!!!) and I got angry, I shutted down my computer. I had to write these down to relieve. I talked with my sister a little bit, I'm feeling better now. After a big big sleeping tomorrow I'll fight for better times!!!

Roy, my best will be about 1:30-1:31 (auto trm makes very-very slow on the central part of the track ) But if YOU can use as many tricks as possible, it can be under 1:24. Let's try it!

Hey guys, I don't have time for Stunts nowadays. I've got a lot of exams, 6 to go (tomorrow: geology of Hungary, today: learning and learning), and my life has completely changed. I was with my friends during the whole weekend, we played football, and we drank a lot. A new girl came into my life (another impossible mission). After my examination on Thursday (organic chemistry), in the afternoon maybe I will have a little time to play, maybe an 1:29 will come, but not sure because the lack of free time. I gave up this month.
I don't know if I will be able to drive a time this month. I have a lot to do for school and I'm also not very motivated -for playing Stunts- at the moment. I hope it will change, but I fear not as fast as it should. I fear I won't be able to make a top-ten-time this month. I know all the tricks, but I'm just too lazy to make a replay. Hi guys! I'm in very-very bad mood. Last Thursday I caught a strange virus. My fever was over 40 degrees so I went home. It was terrible to stay there 6 days long without my girlfriend and without Stunts. Then I came back this morning. I haven't found my room-mate (the PC belongs to him) but he leaved there a big surprise: password on the computer Stunts with all of the replays is on that PC (for example a nice replay on Skids, and a new trick on ZCT14 which makes me 1.5 secs faster)! And I'm unable to continue and send them. I'm very nervous! What shall I do with my room-mate?

Maybe we should promote the site helping Zak, and then more people come. I don't know how, but if we like this or these competitions we should make this grows and grows somehow, not only wait the competitors (ok there are banners too). There are a lot of people around the whole world that likes Stunts I think. What do you think?

About Stunts promotion... I've tried to make my friends play Stunts more, and I've tried to get ManOnMoon to join a Stunts competition again, but I haven't succeeded in any of those things. I'll keep trying

As for me chat room is not a very good idea. There are only 40 members of this forum, and most of them don't have enough time to wait for the others logging in. Download mIRC, connect to the server "jirc.mircx.com" and join the channel called "#zakstunts.cjb.net". There we'll be I am logged on as we speak
It seems to me useing the chat room is impossible on this PC
What PC you are using? I almost all days chating with Alan and sometimes with Alain. You can't connect to chat or what? And you connecting from Zak's site?
Well I don't know where's the problem but it's not so important. I don't have enough time to play Stunts and have a chat... Anyway, I won't race after my next exam (next morning... ) because I'll be at home and I don't have an own PC...
