The new artwork looks great!  Another thing you might want to change is the Lamborghini Bravo in the introduction.

The new dashboard looks great! :) As I've said before, creating the dashboard can be a very tedious and time-consuming process.

A new video! This time is a farewell to the old version and a welcome to the new Melange! Enjoy! ;D

The new 3D model looks great!  Did you take inspiration from Furious 7 by any chance? ;)

Here is a teaser just for kicks  ;) ;D Enjoy!

Ha ha!  I like the way you used The Need For Speed intro music. :)

It's great to hear that you have reached that milestone!  As you know, I have been delayed with the development of the Chevrolet Corvette CERV III.  However, when I get the chance I will definitely be using the latest version of CarWorks to continue working on it. :)

I don't think I'll be covering the EGA/CGA palettes in CarWorks, at least for now.

I didn't think you would be.  The only reason I mentioned it is because I haven't had much response to the other topic and when I saw Zapper mention it, I thought I'd ask.

It turns out that when I edit these image resources to make a perfect rendering in the context of CGA or EGA game setup, there is some misalignment rendering "ins*" and "whl*" that I think it has relation with the width x height pixel proportions.

I've noticed this as well.  Speaking of which, I've asked about this in another topic, but do you have any information on the translation tables for the alternative CGA and EGA palettes?  I know how they work, but I would like to make a list of each alternate colour/shade and its corresponding value and I'm not sure which is the best way to do that.

It looks good! :) My only suggestion is to make the windows darker.  I think the light grey looks out of place.

This is the complete picture edited in 1999. Those mountains are the Andes, specifically in Bariloche.

Ha ha!  That's quite amusing! :)

I have two cats and two dogs.  The cat that I have had the longest is about 15 years old.  I got her for my 21st birthday.  I had mentioned that I'd like a black male cat and I ended up getting a white female cat!  Anyway, I officially named her "Socks" because I always wear white socks, but I usually just call her "Kitty".

She's had a lot of adventures over the years and she does things that I've never seen another cat do before.  Often she will scoop water with her paw and lick it off rather than drinking directly from the bowl.  She'll also wake up and have something to eat or start begging for food whenever I eat, but not when someone else in the house does.

I wouldn't call her a friendly cat, in fact she's been known to attack people without being provoked, but never me.  She's affectionate on her own terms instead of all the time, which I think gives her a slight human quality.  Sometimes I think the cat understands me better than some humans!

I've attached a photo of her that was taken on 26/9/2019.

What do you think about this ? I'm proud of it

That looks great!

You can mask it in "dota" ;)

I haven't done much work with the dot other than changing its colour and position, but I think what Zapper means is to use the dota mask to make some of the pixels transparent, making the dot appear smaller.

On the real car, the sun visors are black with a pretty basic design, so you could use the roof from the Porsche Carrera 4.  Zapper did this with the Ferrari F40.

It's come

The revised dashboard looks great! :) I noticed that there are still issues with the needles though.  I have attached screenshots of what I am referring to.  I know from experience that this can be difficult to get right.

Regarding the gear stick, I agree, however I have a suggestion.  What if you changed the colour of the gear layout to white or light grey?  This would match the rest of the dashboard and also make it unique to this car.

Is it possible to remove the blue dot?

What is your main concern with the dot?  Is it the colour or that it is not centred on the rim of the steering wheel?

I've just tried it and the dashboard looks good.  I think the position of the dot is acceptable considering the limitations.  I did notice the following issues though:

  • There is still some evidence of the original colour to the right of the steering wheel which now contrasts with your colour correction.
  • The needles appear to be drawn over the steering wheel in a few places, but only slightly.
  • The gear stick is obviously from the Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1, but you probably already knew that.  Do you have plans for artwork specific to the Viper?
It's a great car otherwise. :) I appreciate your work on this!

That 3D model looks great!  I think it would look perfect in the game. :)
