Just a question, CTG: how many possibilities do you think to have to win RH title?

A long silence, but time goes on...
More than 7 days without new results, really a long silence. But how are drivers involved in the race for the RH title living this days? Sure Gutix has done a move which puts him in a relative calm situation. And sure CTG is searching the way to put his wheels ahead his principal opponent, at least temporarily. But time is going on. Leading time by Gutix has reached about 210 hours and there are only about 300 hours to the finish. Not forgetting Chulk's possibilities... even if maybe he's looking principally for a great performance in NORH contest... By the way, leading since first day of race, I have got by now definitely 2 bonus points in NORH contest for the longest and continuous leading time. This was absolutely necessary to keep alive the hope to conquer the title. But the hardest part of the work remains to do...

Gutix takes the lead of RH contest with an awesome shocking time!
Gutix shocks everyone with an awesome performance in RH contest: 1'11"80, 6" better than previous leading time! Current championship leader has found an incredible line which will be very difficult to follow for the other drivers! This time he has choosen to race very soon to defend decidedly his leadership. And now, it will be very hard for CTG to conquer the title, even if he mantains for the moment 2 additional points...

A problem didn't permit to download replays about last race, "Control". Now replays are available. Sorry for the problem.

And in RH contest too there's a driver which needs all additional points... and it seems really intentioned to catch all them!

[Group 1 - Podium]

Chulk's last ZSC race gave 10 points, not 8 (DC, Chulk and I got 8-8 pts from you, although Chulk finished higher).

As you can see checking SWR criteria (http://digilander.libero.it/stunts.SDR/ISM/SWR_criteria.htm) points are recalculated with a standard scoring which doesn't assign 10 points to anyone.

This is an extract of SWR Criteria page about standard scoring:

Group 1 - Podium: First 3 drivers get an high number of points, respectively 20, 15 and 12 points.
Group 2 - From 4th to 6th classified: Drivers of this group get 8 points each one.
Group 3 - From 7th to 10th classified: Drivers of this group get 4 points each one.
Group 4 - From 11th to 15th classified: Drivers of this group get 2 points each one.
Group 5 - From 16th to last classified: Drivers of this group get 1 point each one.

SWR update after final result of Z68 (ZAK). Some highlights:

- Renato Biker overtakes Gutix getting the 3rd place;
- Mark L. Rivers overtakes Bonzai Joe, but only 0,011 points divide them;
- Total Points increase for Renato Biker and Chulk;
- Total Points decrease for AbuRaf70, Ayrton, Bonzai Joe, CTG, Dottore, Gutix, Krys TOFF, Mark L. Rivers;
- TOP10 - New entry: no one - Egressed: no one.
- TOP30 - New entry: no one - Egressed: no one.

SWR list includes now 3 new columns:

1) "Last Race Points" (SWR points assigned for last race competed)
2) "Points" (index about increase or decrease Total Points)
3) "Position" (index about increase or decrease SWR position)

RH contest: Two drivers open the challenge going down on the track in the 1st day! One of them has choosen "the freedom" in the first part of the track and this explains the difference between their times. Who will follow current leader through many jerks...? 

NORH contest: A pretender of the title has gone yet on the track... Additional points are very important for him...

An Indy race again... No, SDR is not becoming a pure Indy contest. But next track, the last of the season, is born thinking a great Powergear and so the choice about the car has been pratically forced... Well, it's sure an original track, with 2 parts very different. In the first one drivers will have a lot of freedom, but they will have to control PG through a... very strange territory, maybe something that it's not never seen before in a Stunts race! But, sure, correct me if I'm wrong... After this unexplored tract, there is a forced abrupt deceleration (about from 245 MPH to 100 MPH) which introduces in the 2nd part of the race, a bit strange too, a part where driver must interpret the track finding the best line to follow avail the bank-roads located beside the raceway. And then the final, not particulary difficult but not very sleepy, above all for NORH drivers... Yes, NORH driver will have to express all their firm nerves to get the win, but... RH driver will have to put all their mastery and experience for the same target... Let's see! Start has fixed for Wednesday 1st November 2006 00:00:01

Chulk conquers the 4th victory lunging on Mark L. Rivers!
Fourth victory by Chulk after 5 races: the argentinian champion leads deservedly the general classification showing race by race his talent for NORH races! Last attack of Mark L. Rivers finishes at 58", 0"15 from Chulk's time, after a session 40 minutes long. But if the italian driver had more time in the last day, it's all the same not sure he would succeed to catch the first place. It's anyway very interesting to see the analisys of the race to consider how the time of Chulk and Mark L. Rivers have been very similar for all the race. Now 10 points divide the leaders and only a little possibility remains to the italian to conquer the first official title of NORH Stunts champion: he must win last race getting all available additional points (7) leading the race for the long and continuos period and, above all, leading last 96 hours of race. Let's see! Meanwhile, first podium for CTG, we hope the first of a long serial! The hungarian ace catches in the last minutes his best position of the year and defeats the attack of SuperBrian (5th). Very good outset by Parano (fastest in 3rd section) which catches a 4th place in his first race! Sure we hope that his presence becomes a constant of NORH races! In general classification, Krys TOFF achieves Gutix (not raced) at 3rd place and the last race will be decisive for the lowest step of the final podium. Well, let's see what wonderful emotions this final will reserve us!

CTG reduces again his gap: only 9 points from Gutix!
Only 9 points divide Gutix and CTG: this is the shocking response of penultimate race of the year! The hungarian champion (which has lowered again his time in last minutes with two very fast last sections) catches the victory and 5 bonus points leading the last 4 days of race, meanwhile the leader in general classification gets only a 4th place, thanks a result arrived in the last hours! So CTG (only 4th at 1st checkpoint) has passed from -24 to -9 (from -36 to -9 in last two races), overtaking Chulk (3rd)! Gutix (fastest 4th section) is defending his leadership with the fingernails, but  now last race will be really thrilling, with 3 drivers which can get the title: additional points will be decisive like never before! For the 4th place in the championship, AbuRaf70 (6th) reduces his gap from Krys TOFF (7th) but behind their shoulders Mark L. Rivers (2nd with two very fast first sections, but an awful 3rd section) is arriving swiftly, so great challenge in the last race! The arrival order is completed with Superbrian (5th), author of a very fast 3rd section (2nd behind CTG). And now, we are all ready for a big final show in the last race of the season!

- Mark L. Rivers re-overtakes Dottore;
- Krys TOFF, Bonzai Joe, Mark L. Rivers and Dottore are now very near, only  0,761 points from the 5th to the 8th;
- Total Points increase for AbuRaf70, CTG, Chulk and Mark L. Rivers;
- Total Points decrease for Ayrton, Bonzai Joe, Dottore, Gutix, Krys TOFF and Renato Biker;
- TOP10 - New entry: no one - Egressed: no one.
- TOP30 - New entry: no one - Egressed: no one.

SWR update after final result of Pozsony (USC). Highlights:

- Dottore overtakes Mark L. Rivers getting the 7th position;
- Renato Biker remains 4th but now only 0.121 points divide him to Gutix;
- About 0.7 points gained by CTG, now very near to the 11th place;
- Total Points increase for Dottore, Mark L. Rivers and Renato Biker;
- Total Points decrease for AbuRaf70, Ayrton, Bonzai Joe, Chulk, CTG, Gutix and Krys TOFF;
- TOP10 - New entry: no one - Egressed: no one.
