I've been still following the community now and then while I away and all I see was Alain smart talking on the forum and news trying to look like some kind of vet to the newbies.And not only that.Also constantly talking shit behind other peoples back.
Let me sum it up:You SUCK big time Alain.Really  
I see nothing,no skill when I look at your replays.If Rotoi,ctg bonzai joe,ayrton,gutix,or even me  (list could be continued forever) just invests half as much time as you do we beat you easily.K
I've proven that more than ofter enough when I drove seriously,the last few month CTG didn't leave a hard driving alain any chance.

But your racing skills are not the main point here.I have really tried to calm the whole thing down during the last half year or so,unfortuntaly it killed any motivation to race.But however 'nice' I am to you,you still respond in this stupid arrogant and backstabbing way.

Anyways,I wonder why Zak didn't remove it from the scoreboard,instead of changeing its name? I mean it might influence others to do the same meaning it could end in chaos?

But thinking about it... If this is common practise I think I will send slightly different replays under 10 different names next month Interesting top 10 guaranted....

PS:I know it was supposed to be a joke,but still......but it should still be against the rules,which as I saw with my not counted december replay are followed very strictly =P

my racing career is over. I won few races, it has stopped. When i raced for victory, i was like a pup, biting and barking, now i am like a lion. I sleep.

I remember a time long ago when I said the only way Alain drives so well is that he drives 100 hours per month.Now ctg is bugging me with the same shit Deserves me right? Perhaps.

Point is I think I can say I am better than Alain in liveracing wheter I am in good form or not,so it's likely he needs more time in RH also.
But likely is far away from being sure.He could have a higher efficiency in Rh:Imagine he would only need 2 tries to drive every corner perfectly and in one try he would leave the road.That would already screw the live race replay and he would have to drive  a lot slower there.While I might need 10 tries to drive a perfectly well corner with RH.
Trying to say: I could never have been sure about this comment.

I think both of those allegations  (ctg's and mine) have one thing in common:They are full of shit.And that's just because the allegator has no clue HOW long someone needs to drive his replay.

All that being said I appologize to Alain for coming up with such stupid allegations.Sometimes you realize your own faults only when you receive the same treatment from someone else

The 1.27 was a slowed down version of the real replay which I send to the board,while I send 1.24 to Zak at the same time...

We have not made this a poll because we would like to hear some reasons and not just a vote for one person.Other than that we respect any 'vote'.

Regarding zaks news.

First of all I would like to say I think that's a pity.

IMO the change does not have to be that radical:

1)Zak stays the main man in charge of the competition:

2)The month tracks would be done by the whole community.That means who wants to do the track can do so under the rule that his time does not count on that special month!
And as I hate all the cheating allegations the tasks of the track maker of the month would be

a)create the track
b)At the end of the month analyze replays (just take 5-10 from leading time battle) if ANYONE thinks someone is cheating.If that analyze brings up evidence action has to be taken.If NOT calling someone cheater is not allowed and action will be taken also!

3)Chat/Forum moderator:
From day X there will be an announcement that insulting and flames are not allowed aside from some 'harmless' bragging!
If someone ignores this the consequence will be a warning and the next consequence will be 1 week ban and so on.
(I think if Zak had done this earlier this would be a far more peacefull place!)

The person would need:

a)To be 'fair' to anyone of course,regardless if friend or foe is involved

b)Not have the JTK attitude:That means to say: 'Both of you stop,or both of you will get banned' That is not going anywhere and is probably unfair to the one who did NOT start.
Imo it would be very easy to see if someone is asking for trouble AFTER that announcement was made and thus it shouldn't be hard to see who deserves a warning and who merely reacted!
Ofcourse overreaction should not be tolerated either.








I don't think we need more than that.That way there would be no fights on the forum/chat and we would not have any cheater cheater crying or people who think that the tracks are getting boring because they are all the same (regardless if this is true or not)

I can't see why Akoss and CTG get a warning once they say something stupid (ok it was racism) while Alain can constantly flood the forum and chat with bad flames and personal attacks and gets away without anything.
Let me just say that I find that to be unfair and that I will thus not take part in IRC if he is there and that I will ignore him here also.
I respect him as a very good pipsqueak but as he person he takes all fun away from taking part in this competition,and fun is the original reason why we are here I guess.

It looks like only 2-3 pipsqueaks will earn the leading time this year making them even more elitist!

Maybe because to earn the leading time you must be able to race regulary all month?

For me the only purpose in leading time is that you don't stay on an empty scoreboard 1 day before deadline with times like 1.35 on shortcut free tracks and the winner has a time of 1.15 because everyone was hiding big time.The actual points are just bonus points for those who usually win anyways

Some ideas:

A)Replace leading with 1 or 2 'checkpoints' during the month:

Advantage:That way we would have decent times on the board before deadline and pipsqueaks who can't race to regularily could try to send 1 or 2 good times at the checkpoint dates and -maybe- other pipsqueaks will be able to earn the leading time points.

Disadvantage:Maybe still the same pipsqueaks earn the extra points?It's not really an option to get rid of the points alltogether.

B)Remove leading time:
Advantage:No bonus points for top pipsqueaks
Disadvantage:Everyone would be hiding big time until deadline,competition would be boring.

C)No leading time,but if pipsqueaks final time is more than 2 seconds worse than their last official time before quiet days they get -2 points for time hiding *g*
Advantage:No more elitist leading time points.

Disadvantage:Maybe everyone will send a time 2 seconds worse than his actual time before quiet days and so we would be able to see the winner 2 days earlier *g*
