I don't want to spoil anything but I bet I can beat the time you calculate if I use slow simulation speed

Ok,if you don't disallow it I will use it this month to check if it is really a trick or not.

In the meanwhile I will send a short replay out containing the beginning of the last track which is considerably faster than Bismarcks beginning.And he had the best......

I am 100% sure Bismarck used it but am not sure about Roy.

It does only work with the LM002 as far as I know ->it won't help me next month.



This is how I found it:

I drove the 1st part of the track like mad but never managed to go below 18.90 after trying about 50 times I realized it couldn't be driven faster...The average time I got was between 19.00 and 19.40

But then I got an idea and tried it out:

Best try after few minutes: 18.45 !!!

I couldn't believe it and drove on and at least kept the advantage I got over the remaining track without investing much time!



This is no joke and I guess I have to wait until next year to win the LM002 competition.The great improvement in my time has nothing to do with skills,it's the car

I will only comment on Ben Snels and Bismarcks replays compared to the top 3 this time.





Roy Bonzai Arg Ben Bismarck

1: 19.05 19.00 (-0.05) 19.20 (+0.15) 19.00 (-0.05) 18.65 (-0.40!) While Ben is as fast as Bonzai Bismarck seems to have rocket acceleration

2: 29.25 29.45 (+0.20) 29.80 (+0.55) 29.45 (+0.20) 29.05 (-0.20)  Ben and Bonzai are still racing head to head while Roy starts to come closer to Bismarck.

3: 41.60 42.20 (+0.60) 42.95 (+1.35!) 42.20 (+0.60) 41.55 (-0.05) Bismarck and Bonzai still head to head! Roy seems to be best driver on elevated roads as he comes very close to Bismarcks time.All times taken together make Arg look especially bad here!

4: 50.95 51.65 (+0.70) 52.35 (+1.40) 52.15 (+1.20) 50.90 (-0.05) Ben Snel loses 0.50 to all other drivers on this easy and straight part of the track!Why? I have no idea!

5: 1.11.35 1.13.00 (+1.65) 1.13.05 (+1.70) 1.13.65 (+2.30) Ben is doing the same jump as Bonzai but still loses some time to him.Bismarck did not find the shortcut.

6: 1.27.90 1.29.70 (+1.80) 1.29.55 (+1.65) 1.30.25 (+2.35) Ben has a strong ending,he actually wins time against Bonzai here and is nearly as fast as Roy. Bismarck is still driving the long way while the other drivers are having a good cool beer



Comments:If Bismarck had found the shortcut he might have been 1st this month it would have surely been an interesting head to head race!

Bonzai is only 0.55 faster than Ben.If Ben hadn't mysteriously lost 0.50 on the straightway it would have been a head to race between him and Bonzai fighting for the 3rd place!





And now we get to know who was the fastest on certain parts of the track

I had the idea to compare the top 3 times  by looking at certain 'spots' from Roys replay

and comparing the 2nd and 3rd's place time.

The results are somewhat interesting because Roy wasn't the fastest on all parts of the track

and Bonzai lost 2nd place due to a horrible jump.

1: 19.05   19.00 (-0.05) 19.20 (+0.15)   -Bonzai was the fastest here !

2: 29.25   29.45 (+0.20) 29.80 (+0.55)   -Roy took over the lead but Boonzai is still close.Arg should have driven this part more often as his time is crap.

3: 41.60   42.20 (+0.60) 42.95 (+1.35!)  -Bonzai losing ground,Arg is as bad as Otto on elevated roads!

4: 50.95   51.65 (+0.70) 52.35 (+1.40)   -Kinda unimportant part of the track but Roy is still a bit faster than the opposition here.

5: 1.11.35 1.13.00 (+1.65) 1.13.05 (+1.70)  -Bonzai has to work on his jump skills,he lost 0,70 to Arg so Arg comes very close to him.Winner is descided:Roy

6: 1.27.90 1.29.70 (+1.80) 1.29.55 (+1.65) -The part I have invested most time into earns me 2nd place    ) At least I'm faster than Roy here.

I knew you would win the month  

I find it very hard to motivate myself to drive faster than 2 seconds than the last time on the scoreboard.

A good prove is my bad time last month  

How do you do it?

The matter is through for me now.



As for shortcuts : Either they are obvious so everyone knows them or they aren't there.The only exception to this was the fence 'bug' which some ppl didn't know.

Q:If you are sooooooooo goooooooood (or even god), why can?t you drive a good time without a comparison to other drivers?



1)I don't think I'm that good at stunts,nor did I ever pretented to be seriously.

As you might know from yourself the 1st times you drive a track the time is a lot slower than the 'refined' time using replay handling.

The problem is,if there is no time on the scoreboard it is hard to motivate yourself to drive faster and faster times w/o any goal.



Q:If Bismarck is so good, why couldn?t he drive a good time without a comparison to other drivers?



1)Same reason I stated above just that he's better at racing games then I am,and so is Roy if it makes you happy

Not this time.I agree it might be offensive to you.But I just don't like if someone critisizes an idea if he makes the impression he hasn't even red it.

I've no problems with real arguments even if they prove me wrong.But please refrain from just saying 'It just cuts the month in 3' Because that wasn't the point of the idea.

I use to write KEYWORDS capital so the sentences are easier to understand...

There are 2 reasons I did not send it yet:



1)IMO the other times aren't competative.I'm still sure everyone can drive below 1.50 w/o using any shorcut.I did not find one at least.......



2)I don't want to have the same mess as last month.If Zak does not get my replay I would rather have no time than a bad one.



Anyways I might still send a time today cuz this type of competition is really boring....... (last month)

IMO the only one who deserved the win last month was Bismarck and noone else!

Yes they are.I only drove this track once and w/o replay handling and it's still barely faster than the 1st time on the scoreboard.

Sorry Roy but you and Bonzai aren't ready for a real competition.

The only one's who have sent good times are me and the Looping warriors.

If you win the month by sending in a good time last way you have the points but don't think you are good.



I have always tried to come under someone elses time this month if he was above me as long as I had time to drive.

And I am talking about max 10 min per run (last try)

The earlier tries were all driven w/o replay handling.
