Track Design Contest 2002 / Bordeaux
December 01, 2002, 01:52:11 AM
Nice track, very enjoyable to drive with fast cars. Not so enjoyable with slower cars, but not bad too.
And short. :D

So, i could have said it deserves a 5 BUT...
Why the creator didn't put away the unusal roads and those weird water triangle ? This could have been done in 2 minutes !!! not very professionnal... :(

If u don't want to add scenery outside the track's proximity, that's OK for me, but don't let weird things like that... I like to see the top-view and say "Hey, this track has a good look".
So i can't give a 5 on it.

If it is allowed, i will give it a 4.5, but if half points are not allowed, i give it a strong 4 because this track could really be an excellent track for a monthly competition with IMSA cars, Countach or NSX.

Track Design Contest 2002 / B-tracks...
December 01, 2002, 01:42:00 AM
Well, another storm in Stunts community...
I think 1st mistake is due to Zak not explaining well the deadline change.
BUT Akoss attitude is not good at all. I agree with Argammon and Alan on that.

Btw, this discussion would have never happened.
Zak is right, he said it before staring the TCD : B-tracks will be for everybody, but especially for NON-REGULAR DRIVERS WHO WANT TO RACE FOR PLEASURE, NOT FOR COMPETITION.

Pro and Amateur league will use Zak's "track & car of the month".
So stop thinking anything weird like "I'll choose bad cars for amateur when i'm not with them and good cars when i'm with them", this is really bad attitude. :x

I gave Alps a 5 because i liked this track and it deserves this note. But i really don't want u to win if u really think this way. B-tracks will be for pleasure of driving. Never forget that when u vote.
If u liked racing on a track, tell it honestly and vote the appropriated note.

Just a final point : u gave minus points for latest arrived tracks like Crop circle and Canyon. I hope Zak will allow u, for exceptionnal reasons, to put away the minus points u gave to these tracks.
I built Canyon and the only thing i would like is to know what others think of my work. If i don't create B-tracks next year i don't care. But i would like to know the real place it deserves on this contest.

Well, i talked on the chat with Argammon and it seems clearer for me now.

I accept ur apologies, let's start a real teamwork from now and kick the others out of the top of the scoreboard :!:

Chat - Misc / Stunts LOL
November 25, 2002, 12:00:20 AM
YEAH  :!:
I'm the Champion  :!:
I like the "Only one replay allowed" idea then. :D
I was the fatest to send my rpl and my time was the best... :D
Maybe Argammon won't consider me as a trainee anymore.

As for site admin, sorry Leo, but :
1/ i don't know anything about HTML and so on,
2/ i don't have the time,
3/ i'll be too busy trying to keep my champion title,
4/ i don't have the time,
5/ i've got only a single modem and a 50 Hours/month connection,
6/ i don't have the time AT ALL.

Sorry again pal.
But keep up the good work on Stunts LOL :!:
I'm with u in thoughts.

Chat - Misc / Nicknames
November 24, 2002, 11:51:27 PM
BJ is right, Krys Toff means Christophe (my 1st name).
I changed the way it's written because old games limited names to 8 letters only (due to filename length, u know that of course).

First, i wrote it ChrisTof.
Then KrysTof to be more original.
And then KrysToff because i encountered someone (a Hungarian guy if my memory is correct) which real 1st name was Krystof and i wanted a unique nickname.

Sorry, but there's no wonderful story like BJ or Alan's.

Chat - Misc / To Argammon
November 24, 2002, 11:42:56 PM
Aaargh. Aaargh. Aaargammon  :!:
I'm nothing but just a trainee, huh ?
So what is the scale ?
1 : Newbie
2 : Trainee
3 : Good pipsqueak
4 : Excellent pipsqueak (Akoss Poo, Usrin, ...)
5 : Top driver (BJ, Alain, Mingva, Zak, Ben)
6 : Argammon ??
But don't forget 7 : Alan Rotoi

I know i need to practice, u don't have to say it. I know i'm not a top driver, but i'm the 1st no-top driver in the scoreboard today (24 November) :!: I feel myself offensed. :x

If u want me to improve (but i improve every day i race, look at the scoreboard sometimes), send me ur replays :!:
Let's do a real teamwork. I'm sending all my replays to u as i did with all other Orion drivers, whatever their place in the scoreboard.

Leo and i still have a lot to learn about driving skills, but u have to learn about teamwork. Maybe Bismark was not the best teamate to learn teamwork, i don't know...

I'm sure u said that because the day u posted it on the forum u, Al and Mingy were the top 3 in the scoreboard and i was 10th or 11th then.
But i don't play Stunts everyday. I don't even turn on my computer everyday ! (shame on me  )

Stunts is just fun for me, i play other computer games too. I'm not a Stunts addict, just a Stunts lover.
I don't care if i'm the last in the scoreboard as long as i enjoy racing and this community.
Of course, i prefer when i'm in top 10.

But when i'm with my family (i have 1 wife (only  ), 4 children and 1 cat to love in real life), i think it's not really important to be just a "trainee" in Stunts world then.

Btw, it will be clearer next year : Alain, Mingva and u will be in Pro League, Leo and i will be in Amateur league.
Then u won't have to say anything about the skills of ur "trainee" teammates and stay on ur "Pro" world...

When i joined Orion, the other 2 drivers (Mingva and Alain) arrived only a few months before in Stunts community and so i hoped they won't consider me as a "2nd class" driver.
It was, and it is still the case, thanks pals :D.
But u're not like Mingva and Alain, or so it seems... :(

My praise is now finished, and i want to thank Alan Rotoi (the genius who changed from "Newbie class" to "Top drivers class" in only one month   :D ) for his reaction.

Post-Scriptum :
1/ don't compare Stunts with formula One. We all have the same car on Stunts and that's not the case AT ALL in F1. Btw, I'm sure Schumi can still win a race with a Minardi.
2/ i should have sent this reply in 4 or 5 parts to win the "most post sender" award...

Indy Racing Cup / HELLsinky
November 24, 2002, 10:38:08 PM
AAAARRGH :!:
I wanted to follow Juank23 idea and play only no-RH for the first 15 days, but this track is much too difficult for me
I've made a VERY bad time with 3 times going out of the road... So bad i can't send it or my pride would suffer A LOT
I'll send rpls after the no-RH period, if i can drive under 1'30... :(
This is really HELLsinky for me...

Track Design Contest 2002 / Ok ok ok...
November 24, 2002, 10:16:20 PM
OK men, forget what i've said.
Dumb is far from top 3 tracks and it would noy change things a lot...
But, u're right Mingva. I voted 4, so it should stay 4.
Sorry.

Track Design Contest 2002 / Dumb and dumber
November 23, 2002, 04:46:37 PM
This track is one of the 1st sent. And, i voted 4 on it.

But the more i see new tracks, the more i think my vote was too high.

I mean, the scenery is inexistant and it's too easy to reach 6th gear.

Not that i don't like 6th gear of course  , but this track deserves nothing but a 3 maximum, not the 4 i gave it.

Please change my vote on the "voteboard" Zak.

Track Design Contest 2002 / Crop Circle
November 23, 2002, 04:40:40 PM
I don't think this one has been made by the same guy that did GTO, i think it's due to the same tortured mind that created Neptun. Look at the "flower" effect on top left (on top view), it's like the curved version of the strange figures of Neptun, isn't it ?
Also, on GTO all roads go to something (houses, car park, ...). On this one roads lead to trees  :!:

Of course, the idea of divided roads and confusing roads leading to nowhere are the same way... But i prefer GTO because scenery is better and it was the 1st of that kind.

Btw, i like tracks that force you to study them on top view if u wanna be sure to finish them without nervous breakdown. I think my mind is a little bit special too...  :P

So i can't give 1 point only, even if this track is not good.
2 points, that's my vote.

Track Design Contest 2002 / Canyon
November 23, 2002, 04:27:11 PM
This one is a good track.
A little bit too long, but good.

I agree with BJ : this track is excellent with Zak's rules on IMSA cars, but it's good too with indy with ISA rules...

Btw, i like 6th gear and shortcuts so i like it too with indy on Zak's rules

Can't get less than 5. That's my vote.

France Stunts Championship / save a tree, eat a beaver
November 10, 2002, 12:53:48 AM
U like beavers, i like trees.

That's life, but eating a beaver is a safety for the preservation of forests that create most of our oxygen.

I can't stop buldozers when they destroy trees to create a road, but i can eat a beaver. That's my ecologist spirit maybe.
