I think it's interesting that you prefer Romania to Germany and England. As I see it, there are certain teams that I really want to qualify for any tournament whether I like them or not, because they have too much history and identity, so the tournament feels empty without them: England, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands (:-() and Brazil and Argentina in South America.

It's like you're trying to pay your country into the finals :-)

One annoying thing about these play-offs is that the four teams I hope qualify are playing each other while I don't care about any of the last four teams.
But I guess I'm cheering for Hungary tonight because if Norway and Sweden both qualify and Denmark doesn't, that's even more shameful for us.

Saving the effort for when it really counts, I guess :-) I hope Denmark does the same on Saturday...

So, how are you feeling about 0-1 at half time?

I just did this lap on Default (to my own surprise!). Until the end of the bridge, this is the perfect noRH lap for me, hitting 43.00 at the beginning of the transparent middle of the bridge.
Then, owing to a mistimed slowdown before the next corner and a somewhat imperfect final corner, I missed my personal record by 0.20, clocking in at 1.01.35. Still, this is the second best lap I've ever done on Default old style, following the road and noRH.

I guess random 4-nation tournaments with most key players missing aren't so attractive. Also, ice-hockey is a very marginalized sport in Denmark and probably also in Norway. It's only big in Sweden and (I suppose) Finland.

It's been difficult to find anything in the Danish media about the tournament. But I did find a couple of stories. Too bad Norway got the better of us :-(
