I like the way you changed the images without changing the spirit of the game.

Hey!  I want to say all this is mostly merit for Daniël!  I helped him with some software difficulties, but he really has been putting a lot of effort in this project and has done most of the work. Besides, the idea is his!

As he said, no change in the code has been made. In fact, we didn't even re-compile the source. He would locate the items that needed changing in the source and then I would look them up in the binary for quicker, more direct and minimum impact.

Nevertheless, looking at the code in mode detail while helping Daniël with this project has made me realise that a plug-in-dispatcher is not as crazy of a dream as I thought it was. We can actually have that rather soon if we want it. But it is indeed some work!

About this project again, the Ferrari Edition looks really amazing. I am really honoured of having been able to contribute to it!

How about the solution below?

You can never have enough branding in a Ferrari edition.

Firstly, while I agree that you can never have enough branding in a Ferrari edition, I think the side banners are a little too busy.  I think they would look a lot nicer with just the cavallino rampante alone.

Secondly, the opponent selection screen looks very nice, however I thought I would point out that the red keys were never originally issued with any of the Ferraris that currently appear in Stunts.  Like I said, it looks very nice, so it's up to you if you're worried about that kind of accuracy.

Please remember that these are just suggestions from a fellow Ferrari enthusiast and I think that the work you have done on this so far is great! :)

I'm not worried about that kind of accuracy, I like the picture. But if you can show me what the key's should look like I will certainly change it. I do care about the Ferrari enthusiasts that would like it.

I like it to.
Although I must say that I didn't draw a pixel there.
I cut a picture to the right scale and put it in the original.
Photoshop automatically converts it to the correct pallet.
So, it was 10 minutes Google, 2 minutes cutting and scaling and 2 seconds to place it in the original  8)

On a different note.
We found that last check. The Countach is officially cut from the game.

The Ferrari GTO (dsi original) is the default car. And will drive the logo (working on that one)

I decided not to put our names in it. I can not find a good place to do so.

I did ad "forum.stunts.hu" to a title screen.

I hope to present the final version soon.

Although the Ferrari GTO on the title screen must be a bit larger it is working.
Everything seems to be ready so I changed the download link above.

Please test and report any problems.

I've been trying to make a little program to just convert any car to the title car, but I'm having some problems when I try to scale it. It strange because I look at the results at the middle of the code and it looks like all is fine, but then it doesn't work. I told Daniël I'd be able to do it quickly but it seems I was so much in a hurry yesterday that I made mistakes and it's buggy. I'll have to rewrite that. Also, I still have bugs to fix in CarWorks!

Working on some fun minor updates.
First Some new tracks.

I'm not the best track builder, So feel free to improve them or give feedback.

I made a first attempt at a new default track.
The Ferrari test track Fiorano_Circuit.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiorano_Circuit

I tried to create a track that drives similar, but it doesn't look as good.
Although it is the right length.

The Ferrari F40 is clocked at a time of 1'29.60 in 1987.
The track analysis by bliss gives my track a OWOOT time of 1'28.

See the Idea picture, the reality and the analysis in the attachments.
Also the track if you want to give it a spin, or change it.

I would also like a Replay of a good and quick lap.
For the default replay. So the professional driver actually drives professionally.  8) 8)

I did the Fiorano in the past...and the timing correspond to reality.

Daniel3D

It is not an easy track to drive. But it's not really that bad as it is now.
It is very flat because it is based on a real track.
So not comparable with the contest tracks.

I get nowhere near the track estimates though. ::)

Dit you make this track as well? Do you still have it?

We had the same approach about the orientation.

I made a grid background in photoshop.
I can then place the real track on it as a layer to use as a reference.
(see picture in earlier post)

That works quite well for dimensions.
