I came across a stunts site I didn't know, In itself not very special, but I'm not sure if I can find it again.
So since it is a bit of "active" (although not maintained) stunts history I thought to post it here.
But I could not find a topic about it.

https://www.cs.mcgill.ca/~abatko/interests/stunts/ Last updated in 2002.
I think it was a part of a multipage personal site, but u have not been able to find any page referring to this one.
It seems to be an orphaned page.

Some interesting details on the short page:
Quote"It's a combination of a bitmap and 3-D polygon-type driving game..." -- Don Mattrick
QuoteKevin Pickell was the lead programmer, while Don Mattrick was the designer,

Does anyone else know of old stunts sites?

The most complete old stunts site I know apart from Kalpen's is https://www.stuntsillusion.com/ by Neil McRae. A few months ago I googled about stunts sites and there is a stop about 12-15 years ago. Most of them are from early 2000's. Most of them in english but there are some in german. Also I searched in youtube and I found many but not that much :D.
Mark L. Rivers made a lot of great videos, Duplode, FinRok and Seeker too. There are more users but I don't know if they are/were in the community.

I found an old review of STUNTS.
http://www.ibiblio.org/GameBytes/issue20/misc/stunts.html

QuoteSTUNTS does have a small number of bugs. The most notable is the infamous "overdrive" bug. This is essentially an "afterburner" for your racing car, or a tank of Nitrous Oxide that never runs out. "Overdrive" is really more of a feature than a bug, since it does make the game more fun to play (as you might imagine).

Found another retrospective from 2011. It mentiones ZakStunts but at the old address. I made a comment on that.  8)

QuoteWhat we said: "While 4DSD looks and feels like the ten-year-old game that it is, it remains a worthy and involving driving game, and if you can put up with the graphics and sound, chances are you'll find yourself giving it extended periods of your time, especially if you start using the construction kit."

This one is a bit interesting. I originally found his site because he made a YouTube video about the opponent AI.
On his site he just has a nice collection of tracks.

I love the look of old websites. There was so much more art and creativity in them!  New sites are usually very slow and easily break depending on browser versions and plugins you use, while old ones work perfectly no matter what. Of course, our community's sites have preserved all that wonder :)

I have not forgotten about them. But didn't mention it because you make an very nice mention on your site.
