Hey folks,

I am going on holidays now (Austria). My holiday will last 14 days which means: 24 hours a day from Monday, 4th of October until (including) 17th of October.

CU then, JTK

BonzaiJoe

Wait wait wait.... you are going on holiday? What does that mean? You won't race? And how long will you not race? The same time as you are on holiday? And how long is it? You wrote one thing in the topic and another in the post. And are you really leaving at midnight between October 3rd and October 4th?  I don't understand this...  :?
But we can't be quite sure.

DieselJoe

Yeah, do the first and the last day really count full 24 hours of being away?

You should make that more clearly, please :?
"Why can't we not be sober?"

I think Dark Chaser should give us his opinion, he is the "absent for 14 days" (2 weeks I think, but I'm not so sure these days) specialist. :D

JTK

O.K. folks, here is what happened:

I left home on 2nd of October 2004, 11:34 o'clock.
I returned on 16th of October 2004, 14:31 o'clock (right in time to come to the THW champions league game against S?vehoft).
I did not race at all in all this time.
As far as I am very old, these days were not for teens...

Now - what was the meaning in all of this? Sometimes I feel two week(s)...

Is that German time, or the time zone of where you were during that period? You need to make yourself more clear... and where did you return to, your home or this forum? I don't know what you're trying to say...
But we can't be quite sure.

Don't press him so much - he is surely jet-lagged ;)

Everything was German time (I always stayed in that zone during my holidays), should be the same than Danish (althougt to me it looks like the Danish always have more time than the Germans...).

"Left" means: Stepping out of the door of the house I live in.
"Returned" means: Stepping into the door (opened  :) ) of the house I live in.

My "home" is used as the flat I live in in the house I live in in the city of Kiel I live in in the country of Germany I live in on the continent Europe I live on on planet Earth I live on, seen from human perspective in the year 2004.

"Living" in this context means: Main place to eat, sleep, watch T.V., feed the cat, torture my guitars, race Stunts (sometimes).

Better now for interpretation, BJ?

:)

But what I don't understand is: you have named a time period of approximately 338,95 hours, none of which time you were present in the place where you "live", by which you mean 'main place' to do a certain list of activities. But what is a 'main place'. Is it where you do those activities, where these activities should be done in general. But do you really play guitar mostly in that house? Don't you have a place to rehearse with the band?

It was confusing that you started out by stating one time stretch (4th-17th) and then corrected it to another (2nd to 16th). Did your "CU then" refer to the time stretch mentioned in the first post, which was an inaccurate description of the time stretch in which your holiday take place, or did it refer to the next post, in which you stated a different time stretch? And when DID we actually see you again? And what did you mean by "C"? We only really saw you in June 2005. And what did you really mean by "U"? Several users saw you in June 2005, but Alan Rotoi, for example, didn't. Also, can you guarantee that everyone who read your original post was still on the forum when you returned?

I think you've been very confusing and you should try to express more clearly what you mean.
But we can't be quite sure.
