Bj?rnebryg is only found in cheap supermarkets :-) I think particularly the one called "Netto". How did you like Masterbrew, the worst beer in the world? :-)

Hm, that's strange, I've searched for it in Netto (and in F?tex)... Masterbrew will be opened within an hour. I'm curious. Now I remember what you wrote about it in this topic earlier (31 Aug 2005) - but I can't imagine that it would be worse than some very cheap beers (Viking, etc.) sold in Hungary...

Akoss: but I hope that during and especially after the cycle tour, we can eat a lot, and have a lot of beer! :partyman:

I survived Masterbrew, and I don't see how could you feel it so horrible. It's like an average beer (for example: S?rk?ny) with a bit strange, but light sweetish after-taste and extra alcohol. As a beer, it doesn't deserve more than 4,5/10, but drinking 3-4 bottles of it would be the nicest way I can imagine to get drunken. (Naturally, I found it much better than any wine, and the alcohol level is almost the same...)

There is a danish beer (Master Brew) with 10,5% alcohol, but it tastes so bad that I would personally prefer to drink CTG's piss with some added alcohol.

What would you say after tasting Innstadt Beer?

On the table: Topvar Marina (Tmavy vycapny leziak) and Steiger dark beer (11%). They are available in Premium shop, at the terminal of tram 61.

Topvar Marina!!! What a surprise! Nothing with the white label Topvar's ugly backtaste. This is dark beer, but it was quite strange compared to Dreher Bak: it was bitter but I also felt the characteristic taste of quality dark beers. Something like a mixture of Pilsner Urquell and Leffe dark beer - carrying only their positive properties. I liked it very much: 9/10 pts.

In Denmark we have lots of Christmas beers (one of them - a real girly one - is actually my favourite beer), do you also have some in Hungary? (or other countries)?

Chrismas beers used to be a bit more concentrated than the usual formula. But I think it's not that common in Hungary.

In Slovakia, we have some Christmas beers, for example Topvar Vianocne (=Christmas) Pivo (=Beer)! I tasted it a few years ago, so I can't remember well how good was it... but I see it got 6,5/10 from CTG. (But as I know, these beers aren't really girly, rather stronger and more bitter than the "summer" versions!)

Steiger dark beer: fine, fine but... I felt this one is really too light for me. Almost perfect taste but no power. Like a Ferrari bodywork with Opel engine.  :? Well I really like the taste, but the weakness reduces the mark a bit. Overall: 7.5/10.

I prefer strong dark beer in the winter and lighter, but still tasteful ones like Dreher Classic or Carlsberg in the summer. White beer is unique, it's good in all season. (sorry Usrin, I like them )
