After playing 2 minutes on a normal keyboard (not a laptop keyboard), I did 3.07.

After a few more tries, 2.83. Close to my old record.

I've figured out that you can improve your time crucially by moving your right hand to the left after typing the "p" and using it for "v" and "y". But I'm not going to perfect the tactic  :).
But we can't be quite sure.
