Uruguay - South Korea 1-2 (after 120 mins) - URU is stronger, I like them better, nothing is against them, they should win... that's why I expect this dirty surprise
United States - Ghana 1-0

Uruguay - South Korea 2-1 (regular time win)

Damn! I forgot to tip for Uruguay's victory...

Ghana - USA 1-1 (2-1 for Ghana in ET: African physical advantage will win. Donovan is too old to play 120' without getting tired and USA is crappy without him.

Germany - England 1-0: Germany has not played that well, but England has played even worse

Argentina - Mexico 4-1: Mexico has a good offensive team, but they will not cope for Argentina's attack. Match will be tied, then Arg scores 2-1 and when Mex attacks more to try to score and tie the game, Argentina's counter-attack will finish Mexican dreams. If not, we always have Maxi Rodriguez ;)

Netherlands - Slovakia 2-0: Easy for a not so clockwork orange but still dangerous

Brazil - Chile 3-2: Very entertaining match to watch, lots of shots on goal and goals to see. To bad an offensive team like Chile will be knockout

Paraguay - Japan 1-0: Paraguay scores a goal on a set piece and then defends as good as they can do it. Boooooring match!

Spain - Portugal 1-2: History plays a big part, Spain fails as usual...
Yes, it is me. No, I'm not back at racing (for now...)

Germany - Argentina will be a damned hard prestige match for both teams. I can't decide which one is stronger.

Nor can I... Argentina have the most fearsome strike force in the world, but on the other hand I can picture Germany's dynamic midfield running rings around their defence.  I will not cheer against Argentina (exceptionally skilled sides are always a joy to watch) but I would love to see this German team going further...

Matches 53-54
