Hey guys, i was thinking about christmas special for 2025, and it would include rally cars only and the tracks would be snow (it can be dirt or asphalt or mixed).

alanrotoi

I like the idea (not the snow but the rest hehe) :)

It is a nice idea, and the CCC format fits this kind of event well -- in fact, just the other day I was talking with @Daniel3D about that. So let's make it happen! ;)

Wrong as usual.

A race on mixed roads with stunts rally class cars*

*)   For those not familiar with the
distinction: these are cars that are
tuned to perform better on dirt and
ice than average.

I love the idea. Looking forward to it.

I'm glad you find the idea very suitable. Could you guys create any tracks and upload them here? Thank you.

and CCC should have option to upload your own track and select one or multiple cars that are allowed

It's confirmed: 🎄 A special 2025 Christmas Season at CCC 🎄 will be held, with @stanceboyCZ 's concept and @Daniel3D 's blessing! The event will be made of short races with rally cars and wintry tracks, held during the four-week window in between ZakStunts seasons. That means the launch will be this Sunday, December 14th! Watch this space for further news!

I have a question about the first route right away. The rules state that all tunnels are checkpoints. But tunnel number 6 is passed through twice. Is it possible to pass it only once and take a shortcut the second time? Also, is it possible to drive on the roofs of the tunnels?

Well spotted. I suppose you mean the fifth tunnel, after the second bridge in the eastern edge of the track, between arrows 4 and 1 of the map on the site. Let's say you do need to drive through it twice. And no, you can't use the tunnel roofs -- following the usual CCC rules, you have to drive under the roofs as well as the finish banner for the checkpoints to count.

I sure do  :D One pipsqueak picking the track and the other the car was a fun rule!

We will have three races overall in this Christmas special event:

  • Race 1 (Rally Square by @stanceboyCZ ), which ends on Saturday, December 27th, 23:59:59 UTC;
  • Race 2 (TBA), which will end on Saturday, January 3rd, 23:59:59 UTC; and
  • Race 3 (TBA), which will end on Saturday, January 10th, 23:59:59 UTC; and

So that we can crown an event champion, I will post an overall points scoreboard here in the Forum. I will add up the races using weight 4 for the first race (since it will be the longest one) and weight 3 for the other two.

These are the final standings across the three rounds. Congratulations to @Victor Narl , overall winner of the Christmas Event!

  • NRL: 4×22 + 3×23 + 3×13 = 196
  • ALA: 4×20 + 3×19 + 3×7 = 158
  • DUP: 4×9 + 3×16 + 3×7 = 105
  • SPO: 4×14 + 3×9 + 3×0 = 83
  • ROT: 4×7 + 3×13 + 3×0 = 67
  • CAS: 4×5 + 3×0 + 3×0 = 20
  • STC: 4×1 + 3×4 + 3×1 = 19

Thanks to @stanceboyCZ for the event concept (and also for making sure we actually had a track to race in mid-December!), to @Daniel3D for opening us the doors of his competition, to the designers of the rally cars that we have featured here, and last but not least to all the pipsqueaks who brought one or many of those cars to the track!  :)

@Duplode, thanks for the congratulations. This was my debut in CCC and I never expected such success from myself. This was a challenging competition with an unprecedentedly tight deadline. I was only saved by having a lot of free time during those days, but I see that not all the riders were able to cope with such a short deadline, especially in the third stage, and because of this, the competition lost a lot of interest. Therefore, for future similar competitions, I would like to see a more lenient/loyal deadline, and I think other riders will support me in this proposal. Thanks to all the organizers and designers. I would also like to see a new stage of the NTT competition this year.

Hello my friends,

As a founding member of Hyperion Racing Team, I just want to say a big THANKS for offering this competition. It's the kind of gift that keeps the community alive... and makes us all reinstall Stunts "just for one run" (yeah civ fans, right).

My warm congratulations go to every participant, I can name them all here : Spoonboy, StanceboyCZ, Alan Rotoi the real (ALA) btw, Duplode, CAS. I want to congratulate also my friend Victor, sbasiba bolchoi tabaritch, pajalousta, keep delivering your wheel art answers thru next CCC special season! Next time, you wont be advantaged by orthodox holidays ;)

At Hyperion Racing Team, we will be your guests again. Will be there, ready to fight for milliseconds, dignity, and maybe a bit of glory. Congrats for the initiative, and thanks again for sharing the fun with everyone.

Thanks for reading, and wish you all the best, STUNTS CCC ... GG.
