Hi everyone,

I've just joined the forum after discovering that the Stunts community is still incredibly active.

Recently, I found my old Big Box of Sports 4D Driving, the Spanish edition published by Dro Soft. Even though the box is in quite bad shape, I still have the original manual and the 5.15" floppy disks.

I first started playing STUNTS on an arcade cabinet in a game room in my neighborhood when I was about 16 or 17 years old. Later on, I saved up enough to buy the PC version. I played it for a long time; those of you born in the 70s will remember that back then, the internet wasn't accessible outside of US universities or the military, so I couldn't share my passion with anyone.

Over time I stopped playing, but I recently discovered this site and this community. I want to show you some photos of the original game sold in Spain during the 90s. I have the box, the original multi-language manual, and the disks.

I don't want to finish this post without thanking everyone who has made it possible for this game to stay alive.

Sending a big hug from Barcelona,

Xavier

Welcome to the community @Xavier! It's interesting to hear that you first played Stunts on an arcade cabinet. To my knowledge, there was never an official arcade version of Stunts. Is it possible that you're thinking of Hard Drivin'? Stunts was definitely inspired by Hard Drivin' and shares a few similarities. In any case, it would be great if you could tell us more.

Hey!  Welcome, @Xavier!  Indeed, before I met Stunts, I had also come across a Hard Drivin' arcade like what @Duplode mentions and when I got Stunts, I initially thought it was a version of the same game. I remember the Hard Drivin' arcade had something very unique: when nobody was playing and it was in demo mode, the steering wheel would move following the replay actions. Could this be the one you saw?
