SPD pedals

i have a pair of SPD shoes, and i feel some hard part just on the foot where the SPD pedal is attached... did i mount them correctly? do i need to read the manual? HELP!!! is it normal?

it could be that youhave mounted the SPD clip on your shoes at the wrong place, and they get too much pressure. Try to move it a bit forward/back, it should be around the line where you feet the broadest are
