Currently my level is 1:08.xx in drunk state, online Default.trk racing - so, not a big deal, can be beaten easily by 5-10 pipsqueaks in an instant...

However, if I can find some motivation, podium is almost sure.

Quite a dilemma... shall I come back for "only one race"? I am pretty sure that if DOSBox will be available again, I will hunt (most of) you down, month to month...

But I don't want to. It was a sick life, with goals without real value...

I have to say it's a nice track, based on the map (and the prohibition of dual-way switch).

I am not aware of the current car (bonus) rules, but it seems to be a perfect Audi Quattro circuit.

Btw: please suggest optimal DOSBox settings for Win11!

Probably I have already told 45234365 times, but still: my ZCT34 replay should be deleted, too. The first ~12 seconds of my replay was stolen from Poo.

Either separate special race (like Plus 1-2-3 in 2002) or ZCT300, I suggest to restrict the car choice to LM002 - back to classics.

What I really missed from becoming a top tier pipsqueak: consistency (and reliable nerves).

I have several weak cars and my performance is heavily depending on reference points.

2002-2003: Tier C
2004-2006: Tier B (a few ZCT victories, mixed with really awful performance in several races)
2007-: Tier A (but far from S), sometimes falling back to B

My best year was 2014 (yeah, the DQF one, main opponents: Duplode, Akoss Poo), probably the closest to Tier S:

@CTG my Micro Machines Corvette is a slightly more affordable version

Just checked: currently there are two Corvette ZR1 C4 cars in the Hungarian market.

A cabrio (1989) in bad condition, for 3.99 M HUF (~10000 EUR), and a slightly better hardtop (1987) for 6.8 M HUF (~17000 EUR).

For comparison, some new car prices (cheapest trim):

Dacia Sandero - 5.8 M (cheapest new car for ages, Romanian manufacturer, crappy...)
Toyota Yaris hybrid - 8.7 M
Honda Civic e:HEV - 13 M
Tesla Model Y - 19.1 M
BMW X6 - 35.8 M

None of them looks better than the old Corvette.

It's ok, sometimes we just forget the performance pipsqueaks in 25 years of history. My analysis for some pipsqueaks are only because the result records and not because I saw them race (i.e. FinRok, Seeker1982). Others are just in the limit of the tier I placed (Zapper, Friker).

This is my tier list. Few places could change after a deeper analysis.

Akoss Poo in Tier B? No way. Maybe I have more victories, but I'm pretty sure he's better than me, especially in noRH category. My racing strategy is more opportunistic, I adapt to the public time results and beat reference points - without those hints, I am simply slow. Poo can produce quality RPLs even without knowing the result of X or Y.

Sorry for leaving out the relatively new names. Rankings are (mostly) based on good old times. Probably my memory is fading, too.
