I like the idea, but maybe you should stop at 12 or 14 pipsqueaks to have reasonably large gaps near the top (with 14 pipsqueaks, 16-14-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1, it gets equivalent to FTT, with 2nd and 1st getting one "bonus" point). And BTW I still think you should adopt a cutoff for calculating the average for bonus point distribution (only times within, say, 130% of winning time would be considered).

Considering Duplode's comment, I would limit this system at 12 pipsqueaks. But I don't think to make any limitations for the average time: the current one gives a little bit more for the "slower" pipsqueaks. Since this competition is called 'Unskilled', it's really important.
