We need a thread for this. SuperBrian, are you playing in the DR manager game? It's going crappy for me because I've been in France and couldn't switch players :-)

What was up with Oscar Freire today? He must have been totally wasted, or it seems that he would have been able to win the stage easily.

The only people left who can win the tour:

Floyd Landis
Denis Menchov
Andreas Kl?den
Cadel Evans
But we can't be quite sure.

And why not C. Dessel ? A French winner...  :D

First message on new forum!

First I have to tell you: skid off Yankees! The cycling sports valhalla arranged (exclude Ullrich, Basso etc.) to let another stallin Yankee win! skid off Landis!

All my hopes are in Denis Menchov now... let's see tomorrow what will happen in Alpe D'Huez.

I also think it's a bit funny that Phonak is still allowed to race, because they are the team with by far the most doping scandals. And they also have the most names on Fuentes' list.

Let's mention some names:

Tyler Hamilton
Santos Capilla Gonzalez
Jos? Enrique Gutierrez
Floyd Landis?
But we can't be quite sure.

I told you my opinion about msn tonight, but I'll add here some further comments after the next stages.

Just a few lines of our conversation:

[20:27:07] Akoss - egy : the order of the world should have been the
following: the heaviest doped fails at first
[20:27:19] Akoss - egy : =armstrong
[20:27:28] Akoss - egy : but it didn't go like this
[20:27:44] Akoss - egy : the unluckiest failed at first
[20:28:11] Akoss - egy : not armstrong, who climbed the highest
mountains without signs of fatigue, while ullrich and basso
           were struggling behind him
[20:28:29] A Reflection: yes, it's laughable :)
[20:28:51] Akoss - egy : and i only hope/d/ for a non american winner
[20:28:57] A Reflection: me too
[20:29:00] Akoss - egy : i really hope landis will NOT win

Decision about Landis' exclusion is quite close... what do you think, can he keep the yellow jersey he won with cheating last year?

I also heard rumours that Pereiro Sio was also doped... what did you hear about that?

Please don't say that everybody is doped... I know that. But Landis' blood sample was provenly positive after Stage 17 (maybe above the normal doping portion he took something extra - remember, strangely, he poured a lot of water on himself in every 3-4 minutes), and I also heard that a few weeks ago about Pereiro.

2300th post! :)

I think it's ridiculous if he can keep the win after having been proven to cheat. As for Pereiro, of course he was doped, but it's all about what you can prove. Maybe the "true" winner of Tour de France 2006 was some unknown guy in the middle of the peloton :)
But we can't be quite sure.
