Oh, come on Jacky, I was not fishing for compliments at all!   ;D

...and you are the greatest meat fan I have ever known! ;D

BonzaiJoe

I know you weren't fishing for compliments, but a compliment can also be an anti-insult :)

Did you know that in Denmark, we project our own problems on Germans. For example, there is the expression "pølsetysker" which means "wurst-Deutscher" or "sausage-German", a kind of fat, ugly, loud and brutal man who only cares about sports and food. This is a very typical Danish type of man, and I don't know if you have a lot of them in Germany. Is there any such thing as a "wurst-Däne"?
But we can't be quite sure.

It reminds me on the expressions "french leave" vs. "filer à l'anglaise"... ;D

(in Hungary we say for this: "angolosan távozik" - I write this with small letters 'cause I don't want Töff to be happy about that... :D)

* CTG is a sausage-Hungarian.

Or not. I care about beer too. ;D

Krys TOFF

Or "Spaghetti à la Bolognaise" in French while English people call it "French Spaghetti". This means spaghetti and a tomato sauce with small pieces of beef.

Töff: don't read my former post, it's edited. :D

LOL - no, we have no Wurst-Dänen - we say "Dänen lügen nicht" (Danish don't lie)... invented and performed by our famous Otto Waalkes:

Hungarians also don't have to hide away in shame when it comes to sasuage.
Which other country had such beautiful sausage commercials on TV?  :)

Sausage is okay (quite a lot of fat around...) but the "bloodwurst" is DISGUSTING. The ad is hyperLOL (good old communism...). ;D

Is he the typical Wurst Deutscher?

Not really.

1. A Wurst Deutscher would never have the creativity to put on a red cape

2. A Wurst Deutscher would never smile.

Try to search among Danish people instead.

The German people is very diverse and modern, as far as I can tell.
But we can't be quite sure.

Since Zak installed SMF forum as a replacement of phpBB one, it was written "SMF just installed" on the top "block" of the forum. Zak changed this sentence yesterday. ;)
