Costa Rica - Greece 0-0, penalties: 2-3 (Costa Rica will attack more, but they won't be able to crack the ultradefensive Greeks)

- I've hated the Greeks due to their ugly ultra-defensive style and undeserved victory in Euro 2004.
- My boss hates them even more: he's Czech, and he still can't forgive them for the 2004 semi-final.
- I also like the Czechs, so I feel more or less the same...
- BUT: that was 10 years ago and it would be really funny to see the face of my boss if Greece goes far in this World Cup. :P

So I'm starting to change my mind about Greece...

Oh God, one day without a match...... I can't stand it!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Round of 16 predictions:

Brazil - Chile 3-1 (From a Brazilian perspective: either a comfortable victory or an ignominious defeat, at 60-40 odds respectively.)
Colombia - Uruguay 2-0 (Uruguay is toothless without Suarez. Full gamut of Libertadores shenanigans expected.)
France - Nigeria 4-1 (French attack in full flight.)
Germany - Algeria 2-0 (No repeat of 1982, and no revenge for 1982 for that matter.)
Netherlands - Mexico 3-2 (Best game of the round.)
Costa Rica - Greece 1-0 (Well-organized Costa Rica will not be troubled by the Greeks.)
Argentina - Switzerland 3-1 (Messi masterclass. The Argentinian defence will contrive to concede and keep the Swiss at a respectable 2 goals/game average.)
Belgium - USA 1-2 (Belgium has been complacent so far, and there is no better team to punish them for that than USA. Think Greece - Ivory Coast, except that this one is likely to go into extra time.)

That is a beautifully balanced round, and many of those matches may well take an entirely different direction. And hopefully there will be no penalty shootout.

The best "meme" of the World Cup so far: Barilla (pasta company) saluted the fallen Italian football team. :D

I must translate the first words, it sounds even more funny in english :D "Brazil tell me what it feels, to have your dad at home."  ;D

And it ends with "Maradona is bigger than Pele" :D

Maradona is bigger than Pele

...in drug consumption? :D

I think Hulk's goal was valid. Quite on the border of using his hand, but I would rather say chest/shoulder...

Don't worry about the penalties, FIFA wants to keep the Seleção alive.
