Hey again,

simply because I needed it: Here comes a very small DOS program that updates a first HIG file with relevant entries from a second HIG file.
Entries in the second file that are binary duplicates to entries in the first file will be ignored, thus allowing the proper merging of two HIG files that share a common past.
If entries from the two input files have identical time values, the entry from the first file ranks higher (in other words, the tool preserves local records over imported records).

By the way, is it still true that nobody has revealed the meaning of the four bytes at offset 38 (dec) of each HIG entry?

Cheers
