Huge! :D It's Atlético Paraná founded in 1907 :D

This is the right:

Lol! I didn't know Instituto's stadium was called "Juan Domingo Perón". Racing stadium's name is "Presidente Perón"

Well, FC Midtjylland just went and knocked Southampton out of the EL, thereby qualifying for the group stage (1-1 in Southampton, 1-0 in Herning). So at least we have one team there. Brøndby was knocked out with a blast, losing 5-0 to PAOK Saloniki in Greece and drawing 1-1 in Denmark.

Last Sunday, I was in the crowd just behind the goal when this happened:

Morten Nordstrand scores with a bicycle kick in the 89th minute, securing AGF a 2-2 draw away vs FC København.

Here I am, seconds after the goal:

But we can't be quite sure.

"...and he would play for Germany" That's very accurate :D

Shoegazing Leo

Vasco near of Urby Emanuelson. He's a Jorge Henrique who could talk with Mauricio de Nassau.

Parts of that post which I understood:

1) "He's a"
2) "who could talk with"
But we can't be quite sure.

Parts of that post which I understood:

1) "He's a"
2) "who could talk with"

Some context:

  • Vasco: One of the "big 4" clubs from Rio de Janeiro. Currently sitting deep at the bottom of the league table.
  • Urby Emanuelson: Dutch winger that used to play for Milan. I have never watched him play.
  • Jorge Henrique: Brazilian utility winger. Was once an important part of the remarkably successful Corinthians 2009-2012 squad. Looks somewhat like Emanuelson (and might be similar as a player as well, though I can't tell as I have never seen Emanuelson play).
  • Mauricio de Nassau: Johan Maurits van Nassau-Siegen, Dutch nobleman. Governor of the Dutch possessions in Northeastern Brazil during the 17th century Dutch invasions.

All in all, a bizarre signing. It is even stranger than Santos signing Christian Ledesma.
