Stunts Questions / Stunts - freeware or not?
December 28, 2005, 06:42:46 PM
I've done a search here, and all I've found is that someone made a phone call, and was told "you can't get the source code, but you can give the game itself away."

The only other places I've seen references to Stunts being freeware are on kalpen.de, and on Wikipedia.

So, is there anything official on paper?

(Let me make something clear - I really DON'T CARE whether it's freeware or not. This is truly abandoned software. I'm just curious, because if it's not freeware, then the Wikipedia article is wrong...)

Updated version, with a correct power curve (I took the 1.9L PD100's power curve, and boosted everything to 2.0L PD134 levels), and better gearing (changed the final drive - everything else was close to an A5 Jetta TDI, which is close enough for government work).

Enjoy!

And, I'll go ahead and throw in the edited file, for those of you who are too lazy to edit it ;)

This post has ALL of the files necessary for the Audi Quattro SporTDI. Simply unzip to your Stunts directory.

You'll get some people. I started playing Stunts off and on in 2001.

Stunts Questions / HOWTO: Stunts on WinXP, Win2000, Linux
December 27, 2005, 05:22:49 PM
On my system, I lowered the cycles all the way to 1000, and that was still playable. Above that, sound sucked.

Things WERE quite playable running in NTVDM on Windows 2000, but the sound was PC Speaker, of course.

Pentium III 700, 384MB RAM, Win2K SP4.
