One observation. If the camera points forward, the horizon is supposed to be in the middle of the screen. Pictures here:

Is there any car in Stunts with the proper settings?

Is there any post of yours with the proper message?

All of them. Why? Anyway, I wanted to put a page about (and with) Stunts on my site, but I just realised that I can't use any car. Is there any way to put that horizon in the middle of the screen without deactivating the dashboard? I already pointed out a problem, but I think it's worse.

The cars are too low, but besides that, the landscape is drawn in the wrong position.

The messages are about the position, not the alignment of the horizon, so now the title of the topic is wrong.

I found 2 ~usable cars. The horizon is a little lower. "Williams FW15C" and "Street Hawk", screenshots attached.

Stunts is not about realism, it's a fun game with a lot off issues that make it unique..

In this case though it is easy to alter the height of the horizon, it's a setting in the car file. Usually a higher horizon line is chosen to make more of the track visible. Because of the low resolution a lower horizon makes driving more difficult. Feel free to change that in your own software.

Additionally, this game was made before most others. It it's made in a time that most games were two dimensional. So the visual buildup is most likely based on this as well.. as a painters reference the the following is taken into consideration.

QuoteChoosing Horizon Height
low Horizon (Lower third): Emphasizes massive skies, clouds, sunsets, or a sense of vast distance. Makes objects or figures above it look grand.

High Horizon (Upper third): Focuses attention on the foreground, water reflections, or land features. Creates a bird's-eye or downward-looking perspective.

Center Horizon: Avoid unless you intentionally want a symmetrical, formal, or mirrored composition (like a reflection on calm water).

In the game behind the lower part of the dashboard there is no world drawn. In standard setting the horizon is drawn in the middle of "window" that is partly behind the dashboard.

Edison once said,
"I have not failed 10,000 times,
I've successfully found 10,000 ways that will not work."
