Stunts Competitions

There are 3 active competitions right now: Zak's, USC and SLOL. And we have the called "cups" WRC and IMSA Cup every 3 - 5 months.

Last year we had 10 competitions at the same time. What happened? About my competition I'm not motivated to open season 2004. Maybe if Gutix helps me in the administration.

BTW what about the others? Are we tired? The only way to have more pipsqueaks is the advertising (forums, abandonware pages, banner exchange, etc) I did all of these and the things went very well. Why don't other managers does the same? It's the solution. THere are many many pipsqueaks out there. Open an amateur competition, there are many thing we can do.

Is there any idea? am I right? am I wrong?

I think your competiton was cool, with many pipsqueaks. I suggest you to continue, or if you don't feel that you want to manage, then advertise the active championships for your former pipsqueaks. South America is full of talented pipsqueaks - ask them to come and kick ass European friends.

And just an addition - as I promised, I'll retire after the 100th race and it also means USC 2005 will never start. This is another reason to continue 4DSL...

And there's less pipsqueaks as well. I don't know why Tsino not racing in ZCT   After 1/3 of season joined only 2 new active pipsqueaks, and 3 with 1 or 2 starts  :cry: Besides, number of pipsqueaks on every track is decreasing: 21, 19, 15, 13 and this month (for now) - 11.

CTG: if you have some time and motivation, please do a test to know why new players abandoning competition, why active pipsqueaks not racing in other contest (or managing it), etc.

But why will you retire in your 100th? I mean you play/race for have fun or for statistics? Or it is just like when you said you will register a new user in the forum when you reach the 500th message (or helen's lover status)?

Please, don't read it as a critic, it's just because I think it's hard to say "that day I will retire". I thought to retire last year many times but I couldn't deside. I didn't race in the las 5 - 6 tracks of 2003 and if I race now is because the team points and for have fun for few minutes.

So I hope you won't retire at all if you want to leave.

Back to original topic : lack of competitions and pipsqueaks.

I think we really miss an IRC/ISA-like competition. Really. (come on Mingva, put IRC back to life :wink: )

About advertising in forums, I do it regularly on abandonware forums, on "Stunts sequels" (CrashDay (JTK did it too on german part of CrashDay forum) and TrackMania) forums, I post comments on Stunts on abandonware sites that allow it, and so on... But without big success so far...
