Asahi was GOOD! I haven't recognized any major difference because of rice. It's simply delicious! Let's give 8.5/10. Contrast sample was Stella Artois, about the same quality.

I can't log in on ZakStunts' main page, my name is missing from the list. I don't know the reason, and I've no time for finding it, so I wish a happy new year to everybody here! B?FF!

Surprise, I forgot that I had drunk Stella earlier. 7.5 when I was drunken, 6 when I wasn't, and tasted many delicious beers before... let's give 7 to Stella temporarily, but I will taste it once again.

Just a question: can you tell about the beer prices in SVK?

Usrin

Here are the prices of the beers on my photo!

Bottles, from left to right:

Corgon, tmavy (=dark): 15,50 SKK (105 HUF)
Zlaty Bazant, tmavy: 19,90 SKK (135 HUF)
Gemer: 8,90 SKK (61 HUF)
Saris, tmavy: 17,90 SKK (121 HUF)
Smadny Mn?ch: 9,90 SKK (67 HUF)
Steiger: 12,90 SKK (88 HUF)
Steiger, tmavy: 14,90 SKK (101 HUF)

Cans, from left to right:

Corgon: 15,20 SKK (103 HUF)
Gambrinus (CZE): 18,50 SKK (126 HUF)
Kelt (CZE): 24,50 SKK (167 HUF)
Topvar 1: 20,50 SKK (139 HUF)
Topvar 2: 23,20 SKK (158 HUF)
Starobrno (CZE): 16,50 SKK (112 HUF)
Saris: 15,90 SKK (108 HUF)

Sorry, I don't know what is the difference between the two cans of Topvar, it will be discovered when I'll taste them. :) As I remember, Kelt was the most expensive "Czecho-Slovak" beer that I found; Gemer wasn't the cheapest, but I'm afraid the cheapest one (called Gazda, 7,x0 SKK) is equal to the good old Tesco Economy beer. (The factory and the alcohol content is the same...)

And if you want to do your shopping in Sturovo, I write you how to get to the best shop. When you go down the bridge on the Slovak side, you should turn to the left, and just follow the main road. After 1 km, you'll find a Lidl, but I don't recommend it, it's as shitty as in Hungary. 500 m further (on the same road, which is gently turning to the right on the edge of a housing estate) you'll find the big Terno Supermarket in front of you - it has the greatest selection in the town! (Well, that's not a place for advertisements, but...)

We also usually come here to get our shipments of Fidorka chocolate and Korbacik cheese, and of course the Kelt beers for my brother (to stay on-topic)  :)

Tasting of Slovak beers has started.

CTG or anybody else: if you go to Slovakia, you won't miss anything if you won't buy Gemer beer. If you're curious of it, rather make a mixture of 76% Borsodi Beer and 24% water, you'll get similar result... Rating: 3/10. My old rating on it was much higher - as I remember I was very thirsty when I tried it for the first time at Spissk? Nov? Ves railway station, getting off my bike and waiting for a train...

LOL, Marci started it very early. Maybe he knows a pipsqueak without beer is a half pipsqueak. :D

Of course I know it was Umberto ?cs?

Usrin, I noticed that you added your mark on Gemer to the list - but my older ratings on the MetNet meeting beers... well, they are still nowhere... :S

Sorry, when I saw your ratings, I was in a rush to our party of New Years Eve, and I didn't have time to add them (as you could see, I forgot also mines) - and when I arrived next afternoon, I totally forgot the whole thing. But scoreboard is completed now!

Another Slovak beer: Sm?dn? Mn?ch - 7/10. I didn't remember my old rating when I tasted it, but the result corresponds well with my old 7,5/10.
