Yep, Warsteiner is a good choice if you need a good light beer, price is still reasonable.

I always wanted to taste Warsteiner, but I always found a beer on the shelves which I wanted to try even more. Last time I voted for Paulaner...

Btw so far today I drank a Dreher Bak, one of CTG's favourite beers.

Clever choice! According to my beer caps, ~13% of my beers was Dreher Bak in the last few years. The second place Carlsberg has only ~6%... :)

Another newbie:

Courage Directors (GBR, 4.8% alcohol content, 610 HUF/0.5 l): nice ale beer with noble redish color, delicious taste with dry, bitter effect. Not my usual style but it seems to be a really good one. Mark: 8/10.

Let's see the exact stats, I just checked them last evening!

Found 360 caps in the box, only a part of my drinking performance:

- beer is not the only alcoholic stuff I used to drink
- usually losing the caps of bottles from drinking outside of my room
- strongly damaged caps went to trash bin
- bottles with special closure and canned beers

Many of the caps remained unidentified (like Pilsner Urquell, about 8-10 pieces would be realistic in these stats). Identified beers, drinking at least twice:

47 – Dreher Bak (that's a knockout)
21 – Carlsberg
18 – Dreher Classic
17 – Borsodi (would be second... the caps from drinking with Poo)
15 – Stella Artois
12 – Sárkány
10 – Kozel
10 – Soproni
9 – Pittinger
8 – Heineken
8 – Zlaty Bazant
7 – Schlossgold (non-alcoholic... :D)
7 – Soproni 1895
6 – Arany Ászok Téli Selymes/Félbarna (same beer traded under two different names)
6 – Löwenbrau
5 – Tuborg Gold
4 – Warsteiner
3 – Amstel Lager
3 – Birra Moretti Rosso (only 3-pack was available)
3 – Budvar
3 – Talléros
3 – Tuborg Green
2 – Amstel Bock
2 – Arany Ászok
2 – Borsodi Bivaly
2 – Gambrinus
2 – Hoegaarden Grand Cru
2 – Hofbrau München
2 – Kaiser
2 – Maisel's Weisse Original
2 – Sagres
2 – Tripel Karmeliet

Murphy's Irish Red Beer (303 HUF/0.33 l in a bargain, normal price would have been 404 HUF): 4,5/10.

Borostyán-like beer with not too strong, but disappointing sourish, metallic aroma. Well, this strange taste disappears from my mouth after swallowing the beer, and the backtaste is really similar to Borostyán. However, I won't buy Murphy's anymore.

BÖFF!

Several beers to rate from the last few weeks but I can't find the motivation to evaluate them here...

Two cold Borsodis are in the fridge for today. Yes, it's time for spamming! :D

Damn it I can't drink these days, too much work... But in June... :D

Okay, I have to complete it once...

Bombardier (GBR, 5.2% alcohol, 619 HUF/0.5 l): quite a disappointment after Courage with dry bitter taste... not extremely bad, but I expected a lot more for this money. Mark: 4.5/10.

Kingfisher (IND, 4.8% alcohol, 399 HUF/0.33 l): beer advertised on Force India rear wing. Well... first impression was good, seems to be a delicious light festival beer. Then came a strange backtaste - the same I felt long-long time ago in a totally different drink - backtaste of Impra rose tea (I hated that). :D My opinion is quite divided now, let's say... Mark: 4/10.

Tripel Karmeliet (BEL, 8% alcohol, 539 HUF/0.33 l): already tried once, can't find the score of it - so re-testing. :D Full "Belgian taste" (after so many beers from that country I see the similarities :)), quite delicious and powerful one. Mark: 8.5/10

Soproni Szöke Ciklon (HUN, 4.5% alcohol, 179 HUF/0.5 l): I can't see the point why Soproni started to trade another weak light beer without real taste. This is just useless. And forgettable. Mark: 3/10.

Bavaria (NED, 5% alcohol, 299 HUF/0.33 l): a good summer beer, something like Heineken - it seems Dutches are good in this cathegory. I got what I expected from such a drink: thirst-killer with characteristic, but not so strong taste. Another good example would be Warsteiner for this. Good choice if you don't want a "saviour" drink, just a nice bottle of quality beer. Mark: 8/10.

CTG

Bavaria Claro! (NED, 5% alcohol, 299 HUF/0.33 l): summer beer with rice, I would rather call it "little sweet nothing". It's delicious, but not enough beerish. I suggest this one for women. Mark: 6.5/10.

CTG

Lasko Dark (SLO, 5.9% alcohol, 299 HUF/0.33 l): nice color, great taste, but no real power - quite similar to Czech/Slovakian dark beers. Mark: 7/10.

Usrin

Bergenbier (ROM, 4.8%, 1.70 RON/0.5 l): Average start followed by ugly, medicine-like, long-lasting backtaste. 2.5/10.
Ciuc Premium (ROM, 5.0%, 4.50 RON/0.5 l in a pub): Great surprise, much better than the "original" Ciuc which I remembered from 2002. Almost like a perfect Czech/Slovak beer. 8.5/10.

Bavaria 8.6 Red (NED, 7.9% alcohol, 399 HUF/0.5 l, canned): nice color, delicious sweet fruit taste combined with the power of the high alcohol content (no metallic backtaste from the can, wow!). Almost an ideal one for me, right behind the top Belgians. Mark: 9/10.

CTG

HB Münchner Weisse (GER, 5.1% alcohol, 359 HUF/0.5 l): not a very good one, rather sour without any delicious "witbeer" taste. Not worth to buy. Mark: 5/10.
