Some football results:

international friendly: Hungary-Montenegro 3-3 (1-1)

NB II East: Baktalórántháza-Kazincbarcika 2-1 (very annoying result), Kazincbarcika-DVSC B team/DEAC 2-1

Bundesliga 2.: Augsburg-Ahlen 3-0, goals from Torghelle (2) and Szabics, two Hungarian international forwards who were criticised very very much in the past. One of Torghelle's goals was from a scissors kick shot... Miracles can happen sometimes...

Anorthosis Famagusta FC beat Olympiacos CFP in UEFA quali! First Cypriot team to play a UEFA Cup!

Not UEFA Cup, even better: UEFA Champions League!

Along with AaB (Aalborg), who beat Kaunas 2-0 (4-0 agg.)!
But we can't be quite sure.

FC Midtjylland was eliminated by Manchester City after penalty shootout  :'(

Wait a minute, I don't like FC Midtjylland... Their fans even threatened me with violence once.

Anyway, still 4 teams going strong: AaB (to play Manchester United, Villareal and Celtic - funny, the last three times a Danish team has been in Champions League, they have had to play MU. Last time, FCK even also had to play Celtic.), Brøndby, FC København, FC Nordsjælland.
But we can't be quite sure.

Yes, I know. I meant UEFA as the Association, I expressed confusely.

Hope Zenit keeps its players long enough so we can see what they're up to at CL! I saw only the final minutes of the game, best moment was Scholes scoring a volleyball point... :D

Saturday, September 6, Budapest:

Hungary vs Denmark

What do you think?
The Danish team is in a bit of a crisis because we have had three key players injured yesterday: goalkeeper Thomas Sørensen, Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner and defender Kasper Bøgelund. I think Hungary has a fair chance because the Danish team will be disorganized and lack true passion.
But we can't be quite sure.

I guess if the Hungarian team can play the game which they played against Greece and Croatia in May, we can reach a draw. Let me be a bit optimistic, my tip is: Hungary-Denmark 1-1 (1-0).

NB II East, Kazincbarcika in terrible form:

Makó-Kazincbarcika 3-0

After 4 matches, we have 3 points, and we are lying in 14th position, which would mean relegation...

Hungarian Cup

1st round: Kazincbarcika did not have to play
2nd round: Karancslapujtö (regional league)-Kazincbarcika 0-6
3rd round: Salgótarján (NB III Mátra division, 2nd place team)-Kazincbarcika 0-1

Austria 3-1 France :o :'(
WTF happened ? I didn't saw the match, I went to see Pixar's Wall-E with my 2 younger children.

Other results of same group, and another surprise :
Romania 0-3 Lituania :o :o Even worse than French result because it was at their home.
Sebia 2-0 Faroe Islands (logical)
