And today, if there was an island in the middle of the Atlantic sea, it would have host the "throne" of the provisional first place!  :D   The tallest step of the podium is in fact divided by two drivers of the two different continents present in ISM 2010: really a great challenge!  8)

No changes in general classification, but scoreboards more and more tight!  :)
And for the first time, being out of the contest as driver, I can already watch the replays sent. What I can say is: replays are dazzling indeed, but times are still quite far from those ones we will see at the end...  ;)

Two new leading times on two different tracks: one of them drove a starring down from the tallest step of the podium of the classification after a short cohabitation... Will he react soon?  8)

Mark L. Rivers

What do you think? Do 1,4 points, as Time Bonus got until here from a unique driver, start to be a quite solid help thinking at the final rank?  ;)

And we are by now entered in the second half of the Race: time to start carefully what strategy has to be used...  ;)

Duplode

A long time ago came a man on a track
Walking thirty miles with a sack on his back
And he put down his load where he thought it was the best
Made a home in the wilderness
He built a cabin and a winter store
And he ploughed up the ground by the cold lake shore
And the other travellers came walking down the track
And they never went further, they never went back
Then came the churches then came the schools
Then came the lawyers then came the rules
Then came the trains and the trucks with their loads
And the dirty old track was the telegraph road

Mark L. Rivers

Yes, "was the Telegraph road"...  8)

Fantastic day, yesterday, with five new replays, a new strong leader, and the waited outset from Duplode (welcome back!  ;)): what could we expect better?  :)

Mark L. Rivers

Three other replays that lead to a new change of leadership and introduced a battle completely argentinian on Track C!  ;)

31,8 points, that's the current score of the (new) general leader: minding that the first place on a single track rewards the drivers with 10 points, don't you think it's, even if only provisional, an impressive score..?  :o

Mark L. Rivers

Combined attack from Argentina to SuperBrian, but the general leader resists on top! Two new records and three different leaders in the three single tracks: intriguing thing while we are approaching the last part of the race... :)

Three main news for this update!

1) After a Gutix's signaling, I found inexplainably in the Spam folder his mail sent the 21st of January at 21.05: keeping in count the replay attached, Gutix returns on top of general scoreboard thanks also to the 10th Time bonus got, that means by now 2 whole Bonus points for him until here!  :o

2) Finally, Bonzai Joe sent his first times for the Race!  :) Third provisional place for him in general classification and only the different Time Bonus got respect his opponents deprives him about the leading position: wonderfule prelude for the last week of race!

3) The deadline of the race is anticipated for 2 hours and it will be the 29th January at 22:00 (GMT +1): sign it on your daybook so not to miss this appointment!

Last 24 hours have seen three drivers sending their new limits (five replays overall), unusual high activity during a week-end, keeping in count even the other three times sent last afternoon! Duplode starts with a couple of replays yesterday evening: first lap for Track A and new record for Track C, getting his first Time Bonus.  ;)  Just after midnight another replays from the South America: AbuRaf70 improves with NSX Acura too and marks a new limit on Track C  :) increasing to six his number of bonus got. Finally, just 60 minutes ago, double improvement for SuperBrian: again Acura, reaching the third provisional place on that track, and striking result on Track B, where he smashes the 60 seconds barrier with his Lancia Delta and gets the 10th Time Bonus, jumping again on the roof of the general classification and proposing himself one more time as a real pretender for the title8)

Wow, great show, gentlemen, great show!  :) :) :)

And the "magic" weekend didn't finish without seeing other two new records by Duplode! But, thanks to the Time Bonus got before, SuperBrian still leads!
OK, last three days to catch the important Time Bonus which could be determinant for the final win. Will it be a strong enough motivation for the drivers, in order to discover a bit more their own cards? Or will the final battle be postponed to the two final quiet days? Definitive days indeed, these ones! :)

Another little correction is necessary due to another e-mailing problem. The replays sent in the last week-end were 11 and not 10: a new mail has been discarded and parked in Spam folder. I'm sure that this problem won't cause again other corrections...  ::)   Anyway, the classification changes remarkably, keeping in count the time sent by Gutix and realized on Track C only 3 hours before than Duplode (but 0,30 seconds better): thanks to the new limit, the argentinian champion leads currently the race having a 1st, a 2nd and a 3rd place, and 11 Times Bonus!  :o

Two new replays on Track A, two fellow-countrymen on top of that track divided by 0,25 seconds!
The battle fot the title is by now arrived near to his end: only 40 hours to catch the remaining Time Bonus at stake and 3 days and half to the deadline: gentlemen, fait votre jeux!  8)
