Flat track, auto trm, 2-tiles / 7-tiles (a bit more, than 1/4 mile) / 13-tiles (1/2 mile) / 26-tiles (1 mile) acceleration tests in progress, results in the night. :)

(Have we ever completed such a test?)

Without commentary...  :)

I had measured some 0-60mph and 0-100mph times for the Wiki articles, but not these drag race stats, and not so exhaustively in any case. Nice work! (Minor clarification: the Speedgate runs were done with auto or manual?)

All of them are auto trm runs.

Yes, when I calculated the original set of car coefficients. Though I had different, more diverse scenarios:

1. accelerate 10 tiles
2. accelerate 20 tiles
3. accelerate 10 tiles then break to stillstand
4. small circle
5. larger circle
6. mixed track
7. mixed track with powergear possibility

Then I counted difference for each scenario compared to the fastest and averaged - thus the coefficients were born.

The half mile test results are now in the Wiki (for the cars which already have articles there).

Great, thank you! (Btw it seems that somebody was really bored in the night. :D)

Approximately the same should hold for the third DTM car.

I used the same 13 tile setup as one of the balance tests and to produce the official numbers. Mercedes got 17.45. (Average speed 103, top 160.) I also used a very similar setup to measure acceleration to 60 and 100 (find the right distance to crash) and some extra figures that I don't think match anything in this thread, like a full banked lap.

It's nice to find out someone already had a good standardized format for these things after you stopped having a need for it. ;)
