I was thinking about something like this. For ZakStunts it's easy to keep stuff up to date, while others (CTG?) would have to edit the .json file manually —it's easy text though.

The .json files are an excellent idea. If they became available, I would happily write a JavaScript-only version of your page to use in Southern Cross.

That was my initial idea too, but then... cross-domain xhr don't work :|

Oops - that's true, and in this case annoying. In the specific case of Southern Cross I have the option of using the Hakyll infrastructure to generate the page statically. I "only" would need to remember updating the site whenever a new race is available...  ::)
