I meant "offensively minded players", not only forwards. I feel it's almost impossible to compare the qualities of Vincent Kompany and David Silva, for example. And even more impossible to compare goalkeepers to forwards.

About goalkeepers, my favourites are:

Courtois
Neuer
Lloris
Buffon

But actually I don't know enough about goalkeepers to really have an opinion.
But we can't be quite sure.

Since I played a lot as a GK, I always kept an eye on this position. My historical favorites were Schmeichel, Chilavert, Van der Sar - and an active one, Casillas (now really, I can't understand Real Madrid - why Diego Lopez?). But if you ask who is the best GK at the moment, I'll obviously say Neuer.

Some other memorable goalkeepers / goalkeeper actions:

Oliver Kahn - probably the best goalkeeper of the late 90s/early 00s, but I couldn't really stand his agressive behaviour
Vitor Baia (Portugal, 90s/early 00s)- a talented GK from the good old cr-free Portugal team
Ivan Campos (Mexico, 90s) - such a dwarf in this position... and still a good one! Do you remember his funny colorful dresses?
Francesco Toldo (Italy, 2000) - the famous penalty killer, do you remember NED-ITA from Euro2000? ;D
Thomas Ravelli (Sweden, mid-90s) - member of the World Cup bronze medalist team in 1994, he had a funny kick-off style (making a circle with the ball around his body)
Gábor Király (Hungary, 1998-) - he had some amazing seasons in Hertha BSC (even in Champions League, he made a fool from the attackers of AC Milan). His performance got a lot worse lately, but still, he's in the national team...

And some negative heros, all from the late 90s/early 00s:

David "F.uck you" Seaman (England) - English GKs are usually crappy, but Seaman was most memorable one. I guess his nightmares are full of 25+ meter goals. :D
Mark "F.uck you" Bosnich (Australia/ManUtd) - not really talented, drug addict and he screwed with me twice in one or two weeks (in 2000): Hungary-Australia 0-3 (the only game of the national team I've ever seen live, he messed with the spectators), a bit later ManUtd-Wimbledon 2-2 (I've lost about 15 Euros because of his extremely bad performance, all the other matches were already in the pocket).
Jens Lehmann (Germany): the same brainless idiot as Kahn, but without the spark of talent.
Bogdan Stelea (Romania): shall I say more about him than his country? ;D Btw he looks like a mutant clone of Fabien Barthez.

Why Robben runs so weird? Did you noticed that?

Weird or not, he plays well. Although I don't like him.

Don't forget Rene Higuita besides of the scorpion trick, he did awesome and stupid things in very important matches and he was the goalkeeper of the best colombian team ever. (Asprilla, Valderrama, Valencia)

A dream team? I'm in! (Between brackets a History-Dream-Team)

GK: Weidenfeller (Schmeichel)
DF (Right to left): Maicon (Cafu), Kompany (Beckenbauer), David Luiz (Cannavaro), Lahm (Ziege)
MF (Right to left): Schweinsteiger (Basler), Toure (Gullit), Ribbery (Savio)
FW: Messi (Cruyff), Zlatan (Ronaldo), Cristiano (Ronaldinho)
Yes, it is me. No, I'm not back at racing (for now...)

I'm sorry I can't see Maradona there.

He's the linesman - hopefully he won't suck up the white line... :D

Sorry, I can't respect a drug addict, who scored the most important goal of his career with his hand.

When asked for a dream team, I tend to leave him out as he's the obvious choice. I also leave out players I have not seen play much (Pele, Garrincha, Puskas, Eusebio...) Cruyff being the exception as I've seen a lot of videos about him and The Netherlands is a team I usually like and support.

I intentionally left out my favourite ever, Nedved.

UEFA Euro 2016, qualification groups:

Group A: Netherlands, Czech Republic, Turkey, Latvia, Iceland, Kazakhstan

FUCKIN' STRONG!  :o

Group B: Bosnia & Herzegovina, Belgium, Israel, Wales, Cyprus, Andorra

Ridiculous... Belgium will have a nice time here.

Group C: Spain, Ukraine, Slovakia, Belarus, Macedonia, Luxembourg

Another hard one.

Group D: Germany, Ireland, Poland, Scotland, Georgia, Gibraltar

Fair enough.

Group E: England, Switzerland, Slovenia, Estonia, Lithuania, San Marino

England was "lucky" again, it's a joke...

Group F: Greece, Hungary, Romania, Finland, Northern Ireland, Faroe Islands

Well, well, well... the only thing I knew before the draw that we will play against Romania, again. I would be a lot happier without them. Not that strong group anyway, it will be a tight contest of pot 1-5 teams (and we won't qualify).

Group G: Russia, Sweden, Austria, Montenegro, Moldova, Liechtenstein

Pretty strong, but not a death group.

Group H: Italy, Croatia, Norway, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Malta

Quite well-balanced and strong.

Group I: Portugal, Denmark, Serbia, Armenia, Albania; + France (out of contest)

Very strong group with some violent teams (pot 3-5).

BonzaiJoe

Not Portugal again...
Not Armenia again...
Not Albania again...
Serbia sounds dangerous.

Good news for the English top clubs: the Belgian top players won't need to play national team matches between 2014 and 2016.
But we can't be quite sure.

Let's see our chances...

Optimistic version: 2 pts vs Greece, 3 pts vs Romania (we won't ever earn a point in Bucharest...), 4 pts vs Finland, 6 pts vs Northern Ireland and Faroe Islands, SUM: 21 pts

Realistic version: 1 pt vs Greece, 1 pt vs Romania, 3 pts vs Finland, 4 pts vs Northern Ireland, 6 pts vs Faroe Islands; SUM: 15 pts

My prediction: 1 pt vs Greece, 0 pt vs Romania, 2 pts vs Finland, 3 pts vs  Northern Ireland, 6 pts vs Faroe Islands; SUM: 12 pts

Worst case: 0 pt vs Greece & Romania, 1 pt vs Finland, 2 pts vs Northern Ireland, 6 pts vs Faroe Islands; SUM: 9 pts
