Bad start of the spring season from my favourite Hungarian teams.

Putnok-Kazincbarcika 2-1 (2-0)

and

Diósgyör Miskolc - Debrecen 1-1 (1-1).

However, Juventus is flying towards the Italian championship title and the Europa League victory.

New coach, bad start for the spring: Ferencváros - Györi ETO FC 1-1. But at least Videoton couldn't win in this round...

Football revolution in Denmark:

FC København - FC Midtjylland 1-5

FC København is the rich team from the capital, defending champions and champions in 7 of the last 10 seasons. FC Midtjylland is a team from the middle of Jutland (that's what the name means). They're from the "wild west" according to people from Copenhagen. Even when I grew up in Århus, I thought Herning (where Midtjylland plays home games) was remote farmland.

Everybody was expecting FCK to finally show that they're the best. Instead they suffered their biggest home defeat since... ? I don't know. Now FCM is 9 points ahead of FCK (3rd) in 1st place.
But we can't be quite sure.

FCK is taking Gimnasia's best player next season: Franco Mussis. What do they say (if anything) there?
Yes, it is me. No, I'm not back at racing (for now...)

BonzaiJoe

I hadn't heard about it but I just checked the Danish football media and there's a lot of reactions from fans. Most of them are mildly positive and intrigued. A few haters too. One person said "he's like an offensive vesion of Stig Tøfting with better technical skills." Stig Tøfting was a legendary player for AGF and Denmark in the 90's. I played a match with him as a kid.
But we can't be quite sure.

BonzaiJoe

Of course there was some talk about it in the media, as it was a serious signing by the biggest club here, but it seemed like nobody had heard of him before he was signed.
But we can't be quite sure.

Chulk's Gimnasia vs Aburaf's Atletico de Rafaela was a 1-1 draw.

Here is the proof: Romania is the most disgusting place on Earth. Even Messi is vomiting there... ;D

Btw I think Messi should visit a doctor, this is not the first case...

CTG

Györi ETO FC - Pécsi MFC 2-5, the guests are close to go bankrupt, while ETO is the relatively rich title holder. Congratulations! Ferenc Horváth (the new coach, prototype of the untalented Hungarian strikers in the 90s), go away!

BonzaiJoe

AGF - AaB 2-5 ... no better

and Chelsea - Tottenham 4-0. Terrible day in football. Even Barcelona failed to win.
But we can't be quite sure.

The only acceptable result was ATM's victory. Not a confident one anyway...

Meanwhile the Hungarian football sinked even deeper in this round: Viktor Orbán's son debuted in the first class (Puskás Akadémia). Experts say he's not enough talented even for NB III... :D

Luckily they sucked versus Budapest Honvéd (0-4). Btw Orbán FC's security forced the Honvéd fans to remove the "Puskás, Honvéd, Hungary" transparent, because Puskás is their "academy's" name. Funny, because Ferenc Puskás played in Honvéd... The dictator monopolized the name of the legend. Why am I still surprised...

BonzaiJoe

That sounds absurd. Hopefully people who love football will not vote for someone who does that kind of thing.
But we can't be quite sure.

Muhahaha, Videoton earned only 2 pts in the last two rounds. Hopefully they won't be able to win the championship.

Standings:
1 Debrecen 41 pts
2 Videoton 35 pts
3 Györi ETO 31 pts
4 Diósgyör 30 pts
5 Budapest Honvéd 29 pts
6 Pécsi MFC 29 pts
7 Ferencváros 28 pts
8 Haladás 28 pts
9 Lombard Pápa 25 pts
10 Kecskemét 25 pts
11 Újpest 22 pts
12 Puskás Akadémia 20 pts
13 Mezökövesd 19 pts
14 MTK Budapest 19 pts
15 Paks 18 pts
16 Kaposvár 11 pts

Meanwhile, Bácsa started the spring season in 5th class with a heroic home victory versus Pannonhalma (1-0). ;D

Ok, you can take The Netherlands out of the "Title contenders" pool: Strootman is out.

My final tips for the cup will be different from the preview posted some time ago
Yes, it is me. No, I'm not back at racing (for now...)
