sure it'll be better (that's why we'll use the same pointsystem they use :)), but it'll never reach the excitement of the WRC.

And my dream came true...

:D

We should hire Mr. Palik once to comment one of our competitions. It'd be great fun. :)))

I still don't understand why you don't take part in a competition.....

Because most of the current competitions don't support Broderbund Stunts 1.0 , only 1.1 . I would enter if 1.0 was supported.

You can enter here anytime with 1.0, it's only highly recommended that you join with 1.1, because then you'll have 10-20% better times. But your choice, you're welcome. :)

October 28, 2002, 07:45:57 PM
Quote from: "CTG"I don't have a replay on Skids, because I played on another PC last year...   But I have a question: can I use such a RH in permanent competition like on ZCT tracks in this year?

sure, because there's no way to check it.  :?

Track Design Contest 2002 / 1st Gear
October 26, 2002, 12:14:14 PM
Indy score: 5. Awesome, challenging, but not hard.
Lambo score: 4. it should be shorter, but it's ok.
Scenery: 5. Nicest coastline I've ever seen in Stunts
Comp: length perfect: 5, shortcuts:4.

Overall: 5. one of the best here.

Track Design Contest 2002 / Dumb
October 26, 2002, 12:11:30 PM
Indy score: 3 too 6th geary for a comp. track, but nice for live event
Lambo score: 2. It's boring, because it's too 6th geary. :)
Scenery: 1. template terrain, no nice things :(
Comp: length 5, ideal, shortcuts: 3, looks ok, but no protection. -->4
15/6---> 2.5 --> only a 2 at me. :(

Track Design Contest 2002 / Design Contest in general
October 25, 2002, 04:11:43 PM
I'm so happy it's such a great success...

9 tracks joined in no time, 8 ppl voted on all of them.
There's also a hard race between them, still every vote counts.

Those who voted on all, don't worry, recently received 3 new track, upload in a few mins. :)

You can search their email addresses in the pipsqueaks list. Also you can see their performance in Zak's competition in Score Archives.
Yes, I'm a fanatic of this page! :)

So at least 1 pipsqueak uses these thingies. :)))

Stunts Questions / Re: Controls
October 25, 2002, 03:55:01 PM
Quote from: "BonzaiJoe"I think if you download Stunts BB 1.1 from "www.kalpen.de", you will have the gears at SPACE and ENTER. I don't know if there is different solution...

It just works fine with any downloaded BB 1.1 :)

Stunts Questions / Stunts Controls

Quote from: "pArAnO"Why don't you use a and z? (just to know, that's what I'm using)

On Hungarian keyboards Z is swapped with Y.
It's a fortune stunts can handle this right, and doesn't put shift down on the real Z button. :)

Stunts Questions / NFSSE
October 25, 2002, 03:51:57 PM
I didnt try to this NFS SE, because I have the full cd version of it, but I'll try.

NFS 2 SE worked fine, under windows 98.
It DOESN'T support Dos, Nt, 2000, Xp.

Stunts Questions / NFS Series
October 23, 2002, 10:59:19 PM
W2k definitely.
Old DOS games use Dos4gw memory extender, and w2k's dos emulation can't support it (and if it could, it'd be damn slow)
NFS2 should run btw.
