The Graveyard / Hotrod

I liked this one, curvy and quite interesting and nice to drive => Design 4, Fun: 4. But it don't think I'd like to compete on it so much: 3

The design is ok, i like it:4.

i do not like this first long jump, which is a bit like on kalpenA. For beginners (like me) it's too difficult, and it was more work than fun so:2 nevertheless good to drive i give it a 3 for competition.

Design is ok, though a bit lengthy so only 3, nevertheless: good to drive: 4. I'm not too sure, if I'd like to compete on it, there are some repetitive ideas it think, and i don't like dual way in competition even if it's only for a bit: 2

Not a bad track, but it felt wrong :) Design is quite nice though no revolution so: 4, as a bit too conventional only 3 for fun, nevertheless good for competition: 4

My absolute favorite so far. Really good design, very good to drive, but yet enough to improve ;) I only don't know if I really liked it if it was a competition track so: 5/5/4.

@krys: Get the Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy. Very good book(s). I short: 42 is the ultimate answer to life, universe and everything. only noone know the exact question ;)...

I like short tracks, it was not a revolution, but nice to drive, and not too montone, so i give a 3/3/3

The Graveyard / Goal!!!

I liked the idea of the football field, but 4 loopings in a row aren't nice to drive so: Desing: 3 for the idea, and fun: 2. But i don't think anyone would like to drive that in a competiotion so: 1point.

BTW: I set the factors to 4/5/2.

Stunts Chat / STUNTS SHIRT
October 07, 2003, 08:18:45 PM
Hm I'd be interested in such a shirt so or so ;)
For our final class at school some years ago, we had our class logo stitched on shirt's it was about 15-20Euro then, but we were about 70 people, it is definitely possbile, but i don't know the firm anymore :(
perhaps I can find out who it was and what the minimum number would be. A problem is, that the logo should be one-colored, otherwise the price would explode.

so long.

Month`s Tracks - Kalpens / Ctrack 2003b

Is that the final ranking? :( That would mean that half the pipsqueaks stopped  racing on KalpenB, that would be sad. Or is it just a temporary version?

The question is: Is it relevant for anything? The dual way track thing is out of my reach, as i wasn't participating then, but i understood it so, that the tracked was badly designed and therefore this statement was made. ZCT29 is ok with me, though it's a bit power gear. Changing opinion about track design - i guess it can happen :)
And the rpl-watching - i was assuming that each and every contest - manager or what ever it may be called has to watch replays in one way or the other. If he/she uses this to gain advantage - i really and absolutely don't care. It's a thing for the conscience of the regarding person. But that is a "risk" one simply has to live with - after all, such a contest is work. And it's for free and just for fun. This isn't politics as Alain suggested ;) i guess one can't vote against Zak/Mingva/Alan/JTK and take him his site and put someone else in charge ;)

I really appreciate, that all of you put the efforts in making such a contest possible. And if someone abuses his/her power to get better results (which i still don't believe and for which there is AFAIK no evidence so far) i would see it as some kind of compensation for his efforts. ;)

so long, satanziege

Competition and Website / Retro Tracks
September 04, 2003, 07:05:27 PM
I think a permanent competition would be better, kalpen A was the field experiment for such a thing - one could see, that it was not unfair to the newbies, but the improvement to the historic result wasn't very dramatic. And I'd rather like new tracks. It's like starting a new  track with the replay of your team mate. you can get good times quickly simply by redoing it, and if you're able, eliminating the mistakes. But it's not as much *fun* as finding shortcuts and the optimal way for yourself. so i'd plea for permanent competition.
