I drank Borsodi Beer (an average beer, produced in my region; for the pipsqueaks from abroad), it cost 152 HUF per bootle for me. Yes, I'm drunken at the moment!

152??? Are you mad??? It's 99 in Tesco or Auchan and I'm sure it can't be more than 120-130 in CBA and Spar.

This night we had an unofficial "Stunts meeting" (without Stunts, but with a serious amount of alcohol) with Akoss Poo, and he tasted two "new" beers. His ratings are:

Soproni - 6/10

And maybe I forgot to tell it here, but I tasted Kozel, and my rating is 6 on it. B?FF!

Have you ever seen a beer cheaper than 50 HUF? I've discovered today that Platina ?szok (containing 4,5 V/V% of alcohol) is sold for 49 HUF in Auchan! Well, I'm a bit worried about it, because it is brewed by Ilzer Beer Factory (maker of Innstadt Beer)... but I'll taste it in the evening!

Khm... I've just noticed on the bottle that it was best before 10. 11. 2005! I think that's why they've reduced its price (earlier it was 85 HUF)... But who cares? (I think it haven't became worse, there is a lot of reserve in these time intervals...)

Ugh! That was hardly better than Innstadt Beer, I felt the same horrible tinge, although not so strongly... It doesn't deserve more than 2,5/10 (I modified the result of Innstadt to 2/10, because it was a bit worse). But at least it was the cheapest beer of my life! And at least, I will taste Bjoerne Bryg and Harboe Pilsner in 2 months.

By the way, do you know about the big beer house at V?ci Street? Of course I won't ever buy anything there because it's horribly expensive, but it's fair enough for window shopping and checking the brands from different countries.

As I remember, I haven't been at V?ci Street for a year, I always try to avoid such bourgeois parts of the city... I know only "The House of Hungarian P?linka" on R?k?czi Road, near Astoria. However, I'm afraid it's also very expensive...

About new beers: Slovakian trip will come in exam's season, before that I'll try to find new brands in Lidl and Cora.
