Oh yes I forgot...and Qualit?tswein f?r immer! :D

Hey, these are offtopic things! Btw, I'm waiting for your ratings on Hungarian beers after the Stunts Meeting - I hope that our delicious beers will be much more popular than water, Almdudler, etc.! (And I'd like to bring some Slovak beers and offtopic - but alcoholic! - Slovak drinks.) But until than, you could rate any beer from any country!

Tall?ros will be tried tonight.  :-D

Nober Prize to Usrin! He discovered Tall?ros! I can't stand waiting for beer so I opened the bottle and tried it. Very good one - it's like a perfectized Borsodi. 8 pts, no doubt - the best cheap beer (119 HUF) I have ever tasted!

By the way: I'm really looking forward to taste P?linka!  :drinkers:  \:D/

Last weekend was a silent one before the big stormy last week of exams so we (some friends and me) decided about to get drunk. We went to one of them living in Esztergom. He had a great surprise: some Czech and Slovak beer! The average was a lot higher than the usual in Hungary. The marks:

Steiger 8/10
Kelt 9/10
Topvar 9/10
Budvar (also called as Czech Budweiser)  10/10

Some of the latest Hungarian (or at least traded here) beer:

Amstel Bock 7/10
Roggen 3/10
Ilzer Imperial 4/10
Tall?ros 7/10

That's not surprising, Slovaks always know what's the best! :D And don't forget that Tall?ros is brewed in Kom?rom, very close to the Slovak border. :-) (I think it's quite popular in Kom?rom-Esztergom county, you can see its advertisement on many pubs there.)

Thanks for the ratings! I've only one question: Topvar had WHITE or YELLOW can or label? These are two different types with different ratings, I think the yellow is much better...

And the most important news: Kelt has took the lead with a huge gap, it has 9,25 points in average! Akoss, CTG: you MUST taste it! Current podium is the following:
1. Kelt 9,25
2. Carlsberg 8,88
3. Dreher Classic 8,75

Important topics UP!  :-D

I don't say anything just a percentage: 30%. The chance for a slovakian trip in a week.

Wow! Harboe Pilsner is very cheap and very good! The most serious mistake of it is the fact that it is sold in small (33 cl) bottles. But one bottle was only 1.95 DKK (66 HUF), so 0.5 l costs no more than 100 HUF! My rating is 9/10 on it (I hope not just because I hadn't drunk any beer for 5 days); with that, it has came up to 9th place. B?FF! Sorry... I wanted to say B?FF! :D

I'll taste another Danish beer tomorrow: Carlsberg Master's Brew was much more expensive, 33 cl of it was about 8 DKK, but it contains 10.5 V/V%(!) of alcohol!

Hey! Come by my place...

We drank Harboe all of WSM 2005, it was great. Try "Carl's Special", that's my favourite danish beer.
But we can't be quite sure.

BonzaiJoe

Master Brew!???? It's worst piss ever to have been put in a bottle. It's the ONLY beer that I simply wasn't able to finish one bottle of because it tasted so bad. Now you are warned...
But we can't be quite sure.

Now I'm in Budapest again, I've brought the beers home... I'm sad about missing your place, but I was mainly in Sweden in the last few days (where buying and drinking normal beers is almost impossible...), in Denmark I visited only Copenhagen. I wanted to buy also Bjoerne Bryg there (that was the other Danish beer that Akoss has mentioned), but I couldn't find it...

Well, my place is quite far from Copenhagen anyway, so no problem...

Bj?rnebryg is only found in cheap supermarkets :-) I think particularly the one called "Netto". How did you like Masterbrew, the worst beer in the world? :-)
But we can't be quite sure.

Forever Harboe Pilsner! Finally Usrin tasted it, too! Nice little beer, isn't it?

I discontinued drinking beer, because my belly has grown too big. I started to do sports, eat a bit less, and drink wine, to become fit till the departure of the cycling tour. :D
Chürműű! :-)
