And about music for bitches, I'm glad that kind of thing doesn't bother me , it would be annoying if I had to abandon good music (not that the above mentioned is good of course) because it was for bitches.

HIM has a male lead singer by the way.

Instead of calling this Helen-metal, I will call it wannabe-goth. It is actually cheap pop songs like they could be made by Westlife, Bryan Adams or Linkin' Park, and then they are disguised as dark/goth songs by the band's image and a more heavy use of guitars and dark tones.

HIM is quite OK by the way. Musically quite of high standard, and also good mood. Definitely listenable. I would say the first 2 albums are GOOD.

Good music is not always based on solo masterpieces. Punk-rock has almost no guitar solo, and I like it a lot.

Okay, after several months working on it, I have worked out a Top 100 of songs. These are the BEST SONGS EVER MADE IN THE HISTORY OF PLANET EARTH, so you just have to accept that. It is of course a subjective list, but only some of the songs are niche-songs (example: Bodies Without Organs - Conquering America, which I love mainly for its sound, which some others would hate it for). This is the utmost treasure of the world's culture, and about 50% of the reason why I (sometimes) get up in the morning:

Well, I edited my top song list, too, it was a big work. It is a TOP 223 list - I checked all of the songs on my computer and I put each song on the list which I felt "oh this is worth for this great list". And I maybe flagged a bit too much songs, but here you are, the best 223 songs ever made. None of BJ's top 100 is on the list, it's only rock and metal.

1/ I know half of the songs or so. Mainly Cure, Smiths or Morrissey ones, and few DM ones.
2/ Just like colours or tastes, music preferences differ from one person to another. I like music, I love music, but not that kind of music you like.
