So, I'm back after a good night and I think I found the best song.

It could have been easy to quote a song talking about stupidity or foolishness, but I won't.

Why ? Because imbecility doesn't mean stupidity, it means lack of intelligence, the opposite of cleverness. That is an idea that seemed clever to the ones having it, but was just showing their lack of intelligence.

So I was thinking of a song talking about what is/was a real big lack of intellect. Then, best example coming to my mind was the cold war : building enough bombs to be able to destroy earth 10 times was definitively the most imbecil idea the human being ever had in my opinion.

So, logically, the best song to talk about that is Russians, by Sting.

Many people tend to be hyperactive nowadays, wanting everything right here right now, unable to chill out. An era of hyperconnectivity and hyperactivity is emerging. Even if it is for nothing, many people need to show they're here, that they have a kind of "actuality", because people forget even faster than before.
Madonna is a good example of that kind of hyperactivity.

When I'm told hyperactivity, I answer to calm down. Life is too short to do everything you wish to do anyway, why take time to live the moment, that's my way of life.

So, I would probably answer the song Chill out, by Dan Reed Network (even if the song doesn't concern hyperactivity especially but more the global lifestyle and lack of real priorities in human decisions) :
