Sounds good, three men within a short time. I'm waiting for more.

Should the 2010 method be used (just count the number of good tips), or should there be something new/more complicated? For example 3 pts for a correct tip, 2 for the goal differential correctly tipped, 1 for the correct tip of the outcome. Should we tip the medallist in advance, and get some bonus points for the correct medallist tips?

Kazincbarcikai SC managed to avoid relegation from 2nd division (NB II) Eastern group, though we lost 0-6 in Balmazújváros in the last round. 13th place reached. Relegated teams: Budapest Honvéd II (fortunately they lost in Nyíregyháza today), Rákospalotai EAC, Vecsés FC, they will play in NB III, (probably in the Danube Group).

Eger FC promoted to top division, they will play in NB I (top division) next year.

I'm very happy to see that, even if Szolnok was their main rival. But if a team fights for the 1st division with 300 silent 'fans' at their home matches, they don't deserve the victory. Sad but true: Szolnok is a basketball town, and it's not surprising that nobody wants to sponsor a football team there. (That's why they were afraid of promoting to 1st division, and lost many points in spring to avoid that.)

Not least: Eger is one of my favourite Hungarian towns (maybe the best one), and FC Eger-Tengely-Közmü was one of my favourite teams long ago, when they were not so good, but played 14 draws of 26 matches in a season: http://www.magyarfutball.hu/hu/bajnoki-vegeredmeny/539 (Team name is not correct, they were called FC Eger-Egertej only until the previous season.)

One vote for the 3-2-1 pts version and medallist tips.

I also vote for the 3-2-1-0 version plus the medallist prediction. Waiting for opinion of the others. In 2010, we had Rotoi, BJ, CTG and Gutix as well, I hope they will join again. Of course other stuntsers can enter and tell his opinion about scoring system as well.

To quicken things, I recommend the following:

24 group matches, 3 points for tipping the exact result of a match, 2 for the goal differential, 1 for the outcome, 0 for incorrect tip.

Knockout phase:

7 matches, 3-2-1-0 for the outcome (considering the result after 90 minutes), +1 point for tipping the advancing team (a.) because these matches are more important, a higher scoring for these matches are deserved b.) extra time / penalty shootout winning can also be tipped and point can be gained for it).

Thus, a maximum score of 100 points can be got (31*3 + 7*1).

Bonus point awards:

          finished              gold               silver              bronze
tipped

gold                               10                  2                      1
silver                              2                    7                     1
bronze                           1                    1                     3

That's because a gold medal right tipping is a bigger deal and two bronze medals will be awarded.

Medal tipping: before starting whistle of first match.
Match tipping: before the starting whistle of the given match.

Those who are rarely here on the forum I recommend to come here more often or to tip many matches in advance.

What's your opinion?

We could also just make a league here:

http://www.sportguru.co.uk/euro2012/player_home.asp

So you don't have to count all the points manually.
But we can't be quite sure.

Akoss Poo a.k.a. Zorromeister

Well, since I'm going to count the points, you needn't invest more by submitting the tips here. It worked two years ago, it may work this time as well - let us not kill the Stunts Forum atmosphere. Of course only if you accept it.

To follow CTG, I'm tipping the medallists here:

1 Germany
2 Spain
3 England
3 Netherlands

Somehow I can't feel any big surprises now, but I might be wrong...

Here's an important question:

Let's say I predict a game to end 1-1
It ends 0-0

This means I get 2 points for predicting the goal difference right? So draws always get you at least 2 points because the goal difference is always zero?
But we can't be quite sure.
