Great Sunday! Gold medal from Krisztián Pars - athletics, hammer throw! Our European Champion is now Olympic Champion, too!

4 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze for team Hungary. Well, the amount of gold medals is really good. The amount of medals, that's okay.

Btw Ezekiel Kemboi is a double Olympic Champion now! My former nick here (when Zak banned me, I used that one) ran really well! Grats to the niga!

It's been a fantastic day for Denmark. Silver medal for the men's double in badminton (expectedly lost to Chinese people), another silver medal in sailing (superstar Ben Ainslie overtook Jonas Høgh-Christensen in the last event), and a surprise gold medal for Lasse Normann Hansen in the omnium event in track cycling! (Omnium is like decathlon in athletics: combination of all the different race formats). He's probably doped, but who knows. We are now at 2-4-2. The handball team still has a good chance of winning a medal, and we also still have some chances in kayak and sailing, so it might be the best olympic result since 1948. We are also apparently leading in the medals / population index. At least we were before Pars' victory.

Really not a bad Olympics for Denmark. And yes, the handball team is a serious medal contender.

Left Hungarian medal chances:

- modern pentathlon - who knows... it is like biathlon at Winter Games... luck is needed to be winner, lot of medal contenders
- Péter Sidi - shooting... he is the best, but always svcker at Olympics
- men's and women's water polo team (I hope for a medal by one of these teams)
- maybe, maybe wrestling, it has just started
- kayak/canoe... Hungarian team manager said that the expectations are 2 gold medals and 3 other medals
- Harcsa, boxing (he is in the QFs now, two bronze medals, so only 1 match to be won)
- maybe a surprise, or anything left by me?

Sidi almost managed NOT to get into the final... he secured his place in the final only in a four-men shootout for the last berth... And he starts only from the 8th... though even the 2nd place can be caught, it is extremely close between 2nd-8th. An Italian is leading.

That was a weak day, Deák-Bárdos lost in the 2nd round in wrestling, Harcsa lost in the quarter final, Sidi finished only 6th... I expected a medal for today... but... the handball and the water polo team played really good matches.

HUN-SRB 26-23 -> 4th place in the (harder) group -> will play vs. Iceland in the quarter final
