Fvck off Usrin with your lucky 0-0s... :D

Based on the performance of NED and ARG in the previous round, I thought more of us would predict 0-0...

Btw, in the above poll I was the one who predicted Germany to win the World Cup. :) It's a pity that there are no extra points for the trophy winner in the tipping game...

I guess some teams will be very lucky.

WOW, quite a good prediction for the final four.

alanrotoi

The final four aren't there for luck, also the final eight they deserved to be there.

This Saturday is Renato vs Roy and Sunday is Argammon vs Ayrton.

You mean

a, Argammon vs Roy, Argammon vs Argammon?
b, Argammon vs Argammon, Argammon vs Argammon?
c, Rotoi vs Roy, Rotoi vs Rotoi?
d, Rotoi vs Rotoi, Rotoi vs Rotoi?

KIDDING!

Classic final.

Before the game, I have to say Germany is a clear favourite and definitely the most well-deserving winner. They have played very well in most games and beaten three world-class teams (Portugal, France, Brazil). Argentina has scraped through with some last-minute victories and only won against 2nd-rate teams.

If Argentina outplays Germany within the first 90 minutes on Sunday, I'll accept them as worthy winners. If it's a tight game, I hope for a German victory.
But we can't be quite sure.

Yes. Also Germany has a draw with Ghana and they won against Algeria in the extra time. About the match against Brazil I don't know how to say. A record, an incredible record in semifinals against the local team AND Brazil.

Argentina suffered more to be here. Since the knockout stage Romero didn't got goals and catched 2 penalties (Vlaar and Sneijder).

I don't know the people in Brazil but the media prefers Germany winning (even after a 7-1 rape) :)

Agreed except for one thing: Portugal a world-class team? You can't be serious!
They have only one superstar and a crappy team, that's not a world-class team.

About the final, I expect Argentina to do what we did againts The Netherlands: focus on pressuring hard on the midfield and counter-attack. Germany will take the offensive (unlike the Neds, who played as if they were happy to reach PK maybe thinking Krul will be the heroe again) and leave open spaces for Messi, Higuain and hopefully Agüero & Di Maria to take advantage.

Anyway, I think Germany is 2 goals superior to us but it's a world cup final, we haven't been there for a long time and we want revenge from that defeat due to a very doubtful PK.
Yes, it is me. No, I'm not back at racing (for now...)

Bronze: France - Argentina 1-1, penalties: 5-4 (Messi alone is not enough for a medal)

Final: Brazil - Netherlands 1-1, penalties: 3-4 (Neymar will miss the last one, Robben scores)

I just said your prediction was fine in December, there's no need for further (self-)polishing.

Why? This is not an attack, just a conceited comparative comment.
