Okay, that one was really surprising - the fastest lap was completed with auto gears.

I guess some of it has to do with the track (few of the jumps are useful for speed boosting), and some with the car (easy to mess up downshifts).

I loved this track. A shame I didn't have more time. (Not that I really could have improved my time mutch, but a few seconds should have been possible...

I've successfully found 10,000 ways that will not work."

I tried many times to improve my lap, but this was the best I could do on this one. Looking at the table, I think these USL results will be very useful statistically for studies like what Duplode has been presenting. The cumulative normalised time differences look very representative. Only thing is that we're a limited set of pipsqueaks, but still.

Indeed: here we have seven freestyle RH races within a short time frame and with the same field of pipsqueaks. Charting the results against ZakStunts ratings model should be an interesting experiment; thanks for the suggestion!

(By the way, lately I have made quite a bit of progress on the theoretical side of the model, which provides tasty food for thought if nothing else. I plan to post a summary of what I've been thinking about anytime soon.)

That's going to be very interesting to see!  I'll try to come up with ideas at R4K that can help provide useful information too
