New dark beer again: Leffe Bruin. Belgians are simply excellent in beer! It was better than our Dreher Bak. I'll rate it when I re-calculated the new points of the other beers.

I searched trough my fathers bottles yesterday and found a bottle of Palinka! When he was young he went to Budapest and bought some Palinka to bring home...Now I can bring my own bottle of Palinka to the meeting  :D

Well... Yesterday I was surprised very much. I decided to buy a can of Pilsner Urquell, because I couldn't really remember its taste; when I had tasted it earlier, it was only a glass of it, with not too much carbon dioxide in it. And I tasted it again aaaand... mmm... It became my second favourite beer! Deserves 9.5 points!!! Its very strong and very characteristic taste puts it among my favourite (lager) beers.

Unbelievable... How could he stand not to open the bottle for years??? I think he doesn't know what he misses! :D

Hey!!! Who has bought the whole stock of Hoegaarden beers in Smatch??? Perhaps CTG??? I went there today afternoon, and found a big empty part on the shelf of beers. All types of Hoegaarden has run out... Btw, I didn't want to leave with empty hands, so I bought two new beers: Abro (SWE) and Brauperle (FRA, 8,0 V/V%).

Hm... if I find any beer better than Abro, I'll re-think my former rankings. In the current one, Abro deserves 10/10. Quite characteristic, maybe not a good refresher in summer, but fortunately it isn't summer yet. Btw: CTG, have you discovered the extra feature of the bottle? As the label says, its bottom is a beer opener, and that seems to be true. I should test it immediately! :D

Filter the wheat beers if you want to - I don't separate them in my own rankings.

Newbie:

Kronenbourg 1664 (FRA, 5.0% alc)

Typical beer for warm days - to kill thirst. You can't find any mistakes in the taste, it's just not too characterstic. It means 6/10 at the moment.

Only in co-production with Usrin. Like we did with canned liver creams...  :-D
