Unless it's an old 767 - this model was introduced in the early 80s.

As far as I remember, B767-300 was the largest airplane of Malév. It was fun to see the low-pass over the Danube in 2007.

Oh those good old traditional 20th August events (celebrating the foundation of the Hungarian state, AD 1000)... I don't know why, but our current government hates air shows.

Yes, it did not change. Quite an ugly one, especially compared to Malév.

Yes, it did not change. Quite an ugly one, especially compared to Malév.

It seems their money was enough only for the paintjob - Sólyom Airways is close to bankrupt before the first official takeoff...

Nice surprise in the morning: although the well-informed experts said that Volga-Dnepr's Antonov 124 - spending two days at Ferihegy Airport - will leave in the night, I saw its takeoff at 7:30.

A rare guest just left Budapest: Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker. Too bad I couldn't take a photo, but at least I saw the takeoff.

Damn, yesterday I missed the lowest flying B747-8F of my amateur airplane fan era - only by a few seconds (I heard it, but couldn't see). Usually they fly 800-1200 m high over our flat, now it was only at 600-650, according to flightradar24.com.

Holy crap! El Al cargo (747-400, the loudest Jumbo) just exploded my ears with a flat takeoff. FR24 said ~670 m altitude when it flew over our home.

BUD ---> MUC was fine, but MUC ---> BUD seemed to be my worst flight ever: very steep take-off (causing strong headache), minor (?) turbulence problems, harsh landing.
